It's an old store display, i covered the peg board with some silver material and added the brackets, i had some extra shelves from an old russell stovers display that took up WAY TOO MUCH room.

What? Foil paper or something heavier? It looks like a mirror--I'm thinking of doing something mirrored in the back of my detolfs and I want to do it cheaply. And that looks great.

A buddy of mine has a glass shop and he told me swapping the glass on my detolfs to mirrors would be pretty cheap. I'm not sure how many detolfs you have in that big ass collection of your Slade, but I'd just do a quick measurement and call a local glass shop for an estimate.

SA all the friggin way, there's no other version than 82 :lecture

The dude doesn't even want to articulate...

:lol I loved it when I replaced my straight arm Flash for a swivel way back when.... Sure, straight might be cool collecting wise now but back then it was awesome to swap over to swivel arm for the old 82s.

The only reason I pass on Vintage Joes is that I know as soon as I start I'll be opening up a BIG can o' worms.

I hopped on ebay yesterday and there was a SW mini carbon freezing chamber set, looked very minty, complete with no bids and a minimum of .99 cents... I logged on and bid as quickly as possible but came up short by a second or two. :( That's is my eBay fail story of the day. :lecture

Are you talking about the micro collection? I'm looking to sell my pieces if anyone is interested. Condition does vary a bit... but happy to take pics of stuff.

The only one I plan on keeping is the Falcon set; which is a pretty awesome set :rock

I always bid a ungodly amount and then I laugh at all the losers :lecture

Happens daily, took a T-800 body away from a person just the other day.

Yeah, but I'm not looking at all... Just did a search for vint SW and that was ending... for .99 cents I'd buy it.:dunno

I don't think we would find a common ground on price if that's the starting :lol I'm kind of ambivalent about selling them; they're fun vintage sets; but I don't really have space for them. If they were worth a lot I'd probably be more active about selling them, but I doubt I'd get $100 for all the Micro Collection (not Micromachines Skiman) that I own.

:lol For .99 cents and sense of basic collecting guidelines go flying out the window. :lol I had a couple of the Hoth sets as a kid but I'm honestly not looking for Micro at all. Good luck moving them though, J! :duff

I'll probably keep sitting on them for awhile until I run out of other stuff to sell. But I will say the micro collection vehicles are a cool space efficient way to vintage ships for the collection if you don't want to buy the 3 3/4" scaled ones.
