That Big Foot is awesome. What do the buttons on his abdomen do?

I remember having these when I was like 4. I was born in '77 and the story goes my Mom starting buying toys for me when I was still in the womb. I had a lot of Star Wars and other action figures that were older releases beacuse of that.
I'd love to get this when I have expendable cash

So finally got home from Afghanistan this week! Big pile o' stuff waiting for me, but bad news! I don't have my vintage BUGG (along with a few other GI Joe items)!!! Trying to contact the seller, but to no avail so far...

Vintage SW stuff should be coming too - the sellers are waiting to send, but now Canada Post is on strike! Crap...

We want pics Prime! :lecture

That alone is reason to completely cut off your parents :lol

A few recent pick-ups... I'd post more pics, but I'm gearing up for a big figure purge and my collection room looks like a bomb went off in it

Very, very cool J! They seem to be in wonderful condition. TFs can be a real _____ to get minty with all the stickers and small parts that are apt to breakage.... I'd love to get a Hound and Wheeljack.

I recently bought back my 2 favorite toys from my childhood.I was born in 1976 and these toys were a bit before my time but my older cousin gave them to me when I was 6 and they became my grails at the time, those 2 bad ass action figures had an immediate impact on the kid that I was...I hold unto them until I had 11 years old, they were the last 2 toys I had kept but finally sold them at a yard sale when I started having interest in girls...lollll

Did you guess who they were....?

Kenner's Bionic Bigfoot and Mego's 12 Hulk !!!

Now back in the Worm's collection.

Loose figures.

It's not much but I'm really happy with it

On a side not I was too young for vintage Star Wars (born in 86) But I would buy them from local garage sales before the new stuff hit in 95 as they were my only option for star wars toys. I still have all my old figures from childhood and they still have a place in my collection. The only thing I did to them was buy there weapons for them as since they were from a garage sale most were missing there acessories.

Awesome Hicks! I have a few (very few) of my old figures in my current collection... Unfortunitly they're all pretty beat up and kinda stand out because of it.

Ok, here is my updated case... i just said screw and if the He-Man stuff "dominover" then so be it.

I also, added some C.O.P.S stuff after these pics were taken.

Continued in the next post....

Oh man Klocket! That case turned out simply amazing!.... I've been bidding on some Super Powers over the past few days be had no luck.... Loose Batman figures all seem to go for $25 and over. :(
I might wait to start that new addiction till I get my SW vintage collection finished.

Thanks Man!

I didn't realize a loose batman was hitting so high now... it's kind of crazy, i do have doubles of him and robin, but they sit in the SP batmobile otherwise i would help you out...

Blah, that's like bragging for no reason, if i ever decide to sell... i will look you up first, it's not out of the realm of possibility since i am pretty much unloading all my doubles.

I love the Rebel Scum vintage classifieds... I just struck a deal for 4 vintage figures, one is a last 17. :rock Photos and details to come as soon as I get them in hand. :D

Congrats!

Which last 17 fig??

Man, I don't know how many times i have tried to sign up for the rebelscum forum... 10 times maybe?

I always get the "we will send the confirmation email in 24 hours" but it never comes and then i'll send the mods an email and they of course never reply... I just figured they had a God complex like He-Man.org

Maybe i will try again... see what happens!

Dave Myatt is a member of the boards here and a mod over at RS, he might be able to help you out. You could always try sending him a PM.

I appreciate the info... but i just tried it again and BAM it worked!

I am shocked... not sure why it wouldn't work before but either way, it's a go!

Great... another forum to eat up my time. :p

The upper larger one is a panel which falls off when the Six Million Dollar Man figure(sold seperately) punches the lower smaller panel. He also has a "bear hug" action.

Would ve loved both that and the Venus Space Probe but they were never available in England : 0 (

Thanks Man!

Well, I'm still waiting for confirmation so I can Paypal the funds but we established a price for a Han in Carbonite, Lando, Imperial Commander and a Gammy. The Han looks MINTY!

Yeah, just let me know. As for Batman's price that maybe inaccurate since I was slightly exaggerating... I bid 20 and it went for 21 (which may have come to 25 after shipping). Still, that seems high doesn't it? I'm not sure if I'd like to get too far into that line but a Batman, Robin, Superman, WW, Aquaman, Flash and Green Lantern would be a nice core.

Glad to hear you joined RS! It's not as fun a place as here on SSF, socially speaking, but the vintage buys in the commerce section can be fantastic.

Klocket, what's the story on the Nintendo case? It's a great display--was that an in-store piece or something you could buy?

It's an old store display, i covered the peg board with some silver material and added the brackets, i had some extra shelves from an old russell stovers display that took up WAY TOO MUCH room.

That glass fit just right!

In the early 90's my friend's mom had two of these case on her porch just wasting away, i kept asking for them and finally one day she let me take one that was in fair condition.

I found out a few months later that she had her husband destroy and throw the other one out in an impromptu spring clean!

Made me feel ill since that one was in much better shape that one this one.

I do wish i could find the top logo, It should say "World Of Nintendo" and look like this:

I have heard of Mint cases selling for 1000 and more, but even with the imperfections mine has i don't think i could part with it... kind of goes with the whole "vintage" vibe.

I suppose i could always hit up sign shop and have logo made someday... we shall see.

Yeah, i do think 20 bucks for any 3.75 figure is too high no matter how old and rare it is... that's just how it is now in the world of the internet and ebay auctions. I do think the main characters will be easier to acquire though, i think you could get in at under hundred bucks of you take your time and such.

Cool on the Han, i still can't find his damn carbo block for mine, plus my figure has seen better days too... back to the cost of vintage stuff, i just can't spend that crazy price on those little figures... I will probably only be using the classifieds over there anyway... i have notice that all the specific sites and full of elitists and jerks... not sure why, people should want to talk toys and have fun doing it.

My buddy went to the local wannabee comic shop and i have been in there many times in the past and the people in there just suck, they try to be corporate, but it's clearly a "one store" deal.

Well, they never carry any vintage figures... but for some reason my buddy was able to go in there and find a MOC Barada for 10 bucks, albeit the card was beat up... but 10 bucks!!

The place has no idea what it's doing and yes, i am bitter. haha

M.

Hell, 10 bucks for Barada is an awesome buy!

Yeah, I think I can grab most of those core SP figs for a decent price. They just look so damn cool all together on a shelf. The colors just stand out!

Awesome collection, Klocket. Those Super Powers figures are too great (I still need to pick up a replacement Firestorm from the one our old dog chewed the foot off of). Did you not collect Joes and Transformers as a kid?

Yeah, i had a bunch of TF's but they were like the only thing i sold of as a kid... i will never understand it, a friend had a garage sale and i wanted to sell some stuff so the TF's went. :(

I had some joes, but i just never really liked them... I preferred fantasy/sci fi stuff... so, that's about that with that. :dunno
