Right now I'm contemplating dumping the MOTUC figures... they're cool, but kind of an oddity in my collection as they aren't vintage or 1/6 scale :huh

I dropped them last summer like a bad habit. I just wasn't happy with the selection they were releasing and hated being locked into the subscription. At least Skiman bought my subscription figures from me, but I still have a handful of others left. A boardie was interested in them, but I'm still waiting on payment.

They're cool, but you could sink that $25 each into a vintage figure and have something a lot more special. :lecture

Just came across this thread. :panic:

Thought id share some of my Vintage Star Wars pics.

Carded AFA, non afa carded and loose.

My goal (A near impossible one) is to find an AFA 85 or higher crystal clear bubble luke stormtrooper, i have been through about 5 luke stormies. This was one my favourite toy when i was a kid.

Money has since dried up and times are tough now so i dont really buy anymore. Although i still need a vinyl jawa and blue snaggletooth.

Yeah, I'm thinking it'd be cooler to have a bunch of Thundercats in their place :rock

Now you're talking! :yess:

Vintage still rules! Though I must say I prefer MOTUC to the originals.

I would really like to have one shelf devoted to all the lines - maybe get nice minty examples of '80s Voltron, Soundwave, an extra Duke, He-Man on Battle Cat, Lion-O, Leader-1, someone (or a few someones) from the Super-Powers line, and maybe a MASK vehicle... oh, and the main guy from Sectaurs, and one I always wanted from my childhood but never owned - the Tyrannosaurus Rex from Dino-Riders!

I know I forgot SW but I've already resigned myself to getting all the vintage Kenner figures. :)

Pretty much the same story here... a few figures on pre-order that are coming soon. Nothing past 2nd Quarter which is unusual for me :lol

Also, refocusing the collection frees up some space and $$$ to make the vintage lovin' happen. Right now I'm contemplating dumping the MOTUC figures... they're cool, but kind of an oddity in my collection as they aren't vintage or 1/6 scale :huh

My 99.9% MOTU figure collection says hello. :wave

The vintage BC posted above is much better than the MOTUC version. Who needs all that articulation? :pfft:

So much awesomeness... I'm glad I'm not a huge GI Joe fan or I'd be seriously boned
