fun thread. i mainly collect vintage toys so it's cool to see everyone's collection. unfortunately all my vintage stuff is packed away so i don't have any display shots, mostly just single pics.
here's another one...

Nice Dprime... very nice. What stands are you using for your jets? Looks like a great way to display them :rock

Thanks! Just do a search for "eagle stand" on Ebay. I don't think he lists them in the action figure section though... just do a search in all categories. I think he made them for models, but they work awesome with Joe stuff. Might be good for SW, too.

Thanks DPrime... I was thinking an X-Wing would look good on one of those :lol

And great Firehouse Nintenjoe... keep the pics coming man :rock Ghostbusters is another series I'd like to at least have the original 4 figures from. I think I only had Venkman (he was my favorite) as a kid and then a few random ghost figures.

ill definitely post more pics. as a kid, i never had the original 4 figures either. i did have all 4 fright feature versions and those are my favorite. i do have the ecto-glow variants MOC along with louis tully. these were the last "ghostbusters" produced for the line.

There are also these Flightpose stands at Big Bad Toy Store, but I think this size is sold out.

Nice! :rock

Vintage? I noticed you haven't any pics--are they all standing? That's why I dropped my collection--bunch of bow-legged muscular guys leaning on each other. Even when they're tight and mint, they don't stand worth a ____.

Pics yet? No, but yes last time I checked they all stood. That was kind of a requirement of mine. Oh and a Castle Grayskull with the box...weapons still on the tree.

Uh-oh... I'm moving into the danger zone. Just bought a new Imperial Gunner since mine is missing his gun, but while I was at it got a new Dignitary as this one doesn't have the nose rub...

Must not go overboard replacing figures with better examples... must be content :panic:

:lol

Welcome to my world. I was looking at my personal figures and wasn't pleased with how many are in "played with" condition. :panic:

I've decided to start with the figures I don't own and maybe eventually pick up better replacements on the ones I do.

I saw an auction the other day for the first 79 figures and 2 POTF figures in C9 condition. I wish I had the money. It went for $611.00, so roughly $7.50 a figure. :banghead

Damn... that's a good price.

Large lots are a good way to save some cash, get ones you need and sometimes even turn a profit getting rid of those you don't.

I first noticed it when it was in the $300 range. I figured I wouldn't bother because I knew it would get a bit higher. The per figure cost is really good, but dropping that amount of money at once was just not possible at this time.

It is fun getting a figure or two at a time in the mail, but I would love to get most of them in one swoop.

I've done this about a dozen times for the Super Powers line--I need the more expensive figures of the line and could replace a few and the "all in one" lots are always so tempting. Definitely been a few times I've broken down the the lot per figure and kicked myself later.

Maybe its time we combine our forces on some of these lots... although who gets what could get confusing :huh

Hot damn Nick! There's some wonderful vintage goodness there. :monkey2

I need to stay clear of this thread or else I'll be compelled to start buying. :gah:

Thanks Rich. :wave

Uh, I am in the process of upgrading all of my Kenner SW figures. Once you start you can't stop. Just wait till you start looking for Droids and Ewoks figures. :lol

That stings.

I have "lots". :naughty

At the moment I really don't have an interest in the Droids or Ewoks figures past the main ones... but I'm sure with time that could change. Alhtough I do have a hard time with the cost of the animated R2 and C-3PO, even loose they go for around $200 :google
