The only thing I've been able to buy from Madballs that's sealed is the mad rollercycle and a few *****. Seriously, you can't say b@lls? What is this world coming to? Anyway, the figures always go for crazy money, like $65 each or better.

There are currently a few on ebay. All buy it now with the lowest price being $75

I unfortunately never got the chance to play that as a kid.

None of my friends had photon. I just had one gun and the target as a kid so it wasn't much fun playing by myself. One of my friends had lazer tag and I always thought it was the cooler looking gun.

Really nice artwork on those boxes. I'm still trying to complete my LJN Photon action figure set.... So far they are tough to find. Anyone here have a set of all 6 figures? Loose or MIB?

The only figures I have MIB are Warriarr and the Bhodi Li vs Warriarr 2 pack. I've never come across any other figures still in the box.

I was wondering if any of you guys could help me ID something I'm trying to remember, based on description only :lol

It was the 90's and in the UK, I had this haunted mansion type playset that had all these small monster figures etc... it kinda reminded me of tales from the crypt, but it wasn't that. It was kind of in the same tone as boglins, monster in my pocket or the goosebumps figures.

I remember 2 of the 'monsters' were a bulldog whose mouth opened and another was a severed foot :lol

90's? You might have the wrong thread. ;) Usually it's pushing it calling 80's stuff vintage, but 90's... That's like yesterday.

About 2 years ago I found a carded one at a local toy show which is strange because as far as anyone knows they were never released in the US. I would kill to get that Mansion playset and any of the others.

haha I knew somebody here would know! thats them, and I loved some of those monsters lol. And now I will never find my favourite ones to re-buy, they look kinda.. scarce! :lol

Hey I just came back from Hong Kong and I found out that my grampa used to work for China plastics and another Toy factory during the 60s to 80s. He kept a lot of Toy Guides back in his business days, would anyone be interested if I scan the ads?

I was only able to bring home the Guide of 84, basically a lot of toys were made in Hong Kong, Yoyos, rack toys, some action figures and such.

The ads are hilarious, mostly it's a Toy Catalog for the Toy Industries ( Companies like Disney would scout out which factory was cheapest ) Too bad I wasn't able to bring all of them because they were so heavy.

I only know about them because of the one I found at the Toy Show. I just thought a kid's toy that was a Satanic sacrificial altar was pretty damn cool. My buddy who knows pretty much everything about every toy line practically poo'd his pants when he saw it. He couldn't believe I found it. They are pretty scarce though I see them pop up on Ebay UK every so often, in fact there are a few up now from the same seller but he won't ship to the US. Just keep an eye on there.

This thread has gone too long without any action...

Nice haul, Pixelpiper.

I recently got that same orange BMW. I have fond memories of having one when I was really young. I came across it at a flea market and thought, "why not?". No box like you, though. :(

Thanks!

The box is behind the BMW. ;) I have boxes for all the cars in the photos. Everything above was purchased in the past 10 or so years to get near-mint examples or replacements for stuff I already have/had. I still have my original 1971 Miura and 917-10.

All the (more beat-up) duplicates below are my originals bought when released. Anything remotely beat-up without a duplicate is also my original. This image was taken while testing my shelf customization. The idea works well, but I'll be using glue instead of double-sided tape to hold the plastic pieces to the glass.

That white firetruck in the top right I've had since I was a kid, but I can't for the life of me remember where I got it - it's probably older than both my parents though. ;)

This whole cabinet will be for vehicles, but I've got a lot of items to check off my wanted list. When it's full I'll have at least one vehicle for each of the Matchbox 1-75 releases, picked to replace ones I know I had, then others I remember distinctly but didn't have and finally ones I just think look cool or have another intangible connection to.

I love that cabinet you use for the diecast. What is it?

And nice collection, btw. ;)

IKEA Besta shelf-unit/height extension unit. It's shallow and easily mounted to the wall (includes some fittings to help with this).

https://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/40253905/#/50102143

$50 in the US, plus the Tombo doors which added another $100 for a total of $150. It has two wooden shelves per side and I just recently picked up some Inreda glass shelves at $5 each, which includes fittings.

I've mounted the shelves on an angle by spacing the front fittings one peg lower than the back. Then I've glued some plastic strips onto which I place the rear end of the cars to keep them from sliding off.

Very nice display, pixelpiper. I LOVED the Matchbox boxes! I HATE that they changed to the blister packs.

And I used to have that Corgi Bond Lotus. I think I still have it somewhere...

Ok al those fuzz head... now that makes me jealous !

I really want just one eagle eye in my collection as I remember having him personally when he came out.
