New shelf mod, starting to fill it out, at least temporarily to see how things are going to fit.

Great stuff! I love displays that are a little bit of everything. What are those green guys, middle shelf all the way too the right?

All the way at the right, middle shelf: Gil, the official mascot of EXPO '98 in Lisbon Portugal, which I attended in June of that year. Missing three variants for a complete set. If you click on any of the images yo'll be taken to their page at Flickr where I tag and label pretty judiciously. ;)

Some recent scans:

There are a few more in my photo stream, all at 300 DPI.

OK, at my folks' place in several boxes (for all of the grandkids to play with when they visit) I've got (still in pretty good shape):

The Adventure People and their Wild Animal Safari
The Adventure People and their Sea Explorer
The Adventure People and their Air-Sea Rescue Copter
The Adventure People and their Wilderness Patrol
The Adventure People Scuba Divers
The Adventure People Mountain Climbers
The Adventure People Rescue Team
The Adventure People Daredevil Sport Plane
The Adventure People Daredevil Sport Van
The Adventure People Daredevil Skydiver
The Adventure People Northwoods Trailblazer
The Adventure People Action Team Van (loved that camera)

Great trip down memory lane. Next time I'm there I'll use these pictures as guides and see how complete they are and I'll try to take some pics.

At the moment I've only got the ones featured in my my recent glass display photo, but I've got a moderately sized "wanted" list for later this year and next. ;) The shelf above the PVC figures will be dedicated to the Adventure People line.

I love the space themed Adventure People figures. It's a series I've got on my list to pick up, but I never seem to get around to it :lol

yes please if you can make good scan, i don't mind the size you can show us a few and then zip/rar the rest on some free hosting site we can grab off from.

I only know about them because of the one I found at the Toy Show. I just thought a kid's toy that was a Satanic sacrificial altar was pretty damn cool. My buddy who knows pretty much everything about every toy line practically poo'd his pants when he saw it. He couldn't believe I found it. They are pretty scarce though I see them pop up on Ebay UK every so often, in fact there are a few up now from the same seller but he won't ship to the US. Just keep an eye on there.

Were these in the 70's? Hows the value of them nowadays?

1975-1985 in the US and 1976 to 1985 in Canada I believe, not sure about other parts of the world. One of the scans I posted is from a 3-page spread announcing the then brand-new line in Canada.

They're great scans PP - thanks for sharing them! :duff

It definitely goes to show just how well made the toys of yesteryear actually were. The FP: AP line looks like an excellent collection for any age - collector or kid alike.

I really wish I'd kept some of the great toys I had as a kid now.. :monkey2
