Don't feel bad to admit it jjj. I am not insulted or afraid to admit I am a No Doubt fan. They are a great band. Love their stuff beyond their last album, which wasn't to my liking. Don't get me wrong, I love the writing and instrumentals of the Smashing Pumpkins, but doesn't stop from the fact that Billy Corgan's voice sounds awful to me... with his nasally stuffed sounding vocals.

And no, I don't like Gwen Stefani as a solo act. Too poppy for me. My love of the woman begins and ends with No Doubt.

I agree with Eli on all counts.

The great thing about music we like, it's all subjective stuff at the end of the day. What we're into is no better than the other person's interests. Our music interests are unique and personal to each and everyone of us. It would be a boring world if we liked the same thing or agreed on every little detail. In the end, I am okay with people thinking vinyl is a waste. They are entitled to their opinion. Doesn't mean I have to agree with it, but I certainly won't be made to feel like a "I don't get it" for being a fan of a band either. If ND makes the guy cringe, he wouldn't want to know what other music I have and still listen to.

I am all over the map, I love all kinds of music. New and old. As long as it's not sugary pop or country twang, I am okay.
