I have zero interest in KISS. That said, that box set is awesome. Even as a non-fan I'm sort of thinking, "Maybe I need that." But the price, and the - you know - not liking KISS helps.

The life we lead as collectors. There are things I've bought over time that are cool and I shouldn't have.

Ebay has 5x eBay Bucks today - so I finally picked up the Beatles Mono Box, and got $33 back. I figure $295 is the best net price I'm going to see.

Most of my time spent on this board is looking at pictures, living vicariously through others for a hobby where I no longer want to pay the asking prices.

So it's nice to still have grails to hunt.

I know how you feel. I still buy figures, but it's a struggle. I wouldn't be doing it at all if I were any more responsible, or less reckless than I am. It would be a dream to not have that competition for my luxury spending. I'd love to be able to buy nothing but music, and the occasional Gotham statue. Unfortunately, I am addicted to Star Wars figures.

My record store has Rosemary's Baby and the Marvin Gaye Trouble Man soundtracks right now, but Hoth Han Solo might be shipping soon. You may have just convinced me to be irresponsible. We'll find out Thursday...
