Chewbacca for sure, there's no question.

Although, apparently there are a couple of people out there that like Jar Jar?:dunno

Who's the babe Mike?

MGS has far surpassed Superman in the wait it's taken from announcement to actually seeing something. You can't blame them for being a little upset

Really, didn't they just announce MGS at the holiday show last year?? I thought Reeve Superman bordered on a two year wait.

Dammet, there's no Vader, Anakin (ROTS) or even Maul in that list?? :horror In the words of Lt. Col. Frank Slade (Scent of a Woman):

No doubt Chewie's the best choice there. :monkey1:

nope, reeve superman was announced about 4 months before MGS.

and saw a figure shown this past feb? March?
not sure.
But no, so far, MGS is the LONGEST wait time from announcement to product tease.

:lecture X-Men trilogy figures by far surpass MGS wait....

Meh, I've been waiting 5 years for SOMEONE to do a decent Jedi Luke, but I can't be bothered getting worked up about waiting for toys, so :pfft: on it all.

Not to start an argument. . .okay, yes, I'm starting an argument, but Superman was confirmed in Jan of 2010 and officially shown in May of 2011, that's 17 months.

Metal Gear license was confirmed in December of 2010. We're not even at a year on that one.

Also, Avatar was almost 18 months, so yeah.

And yes, the Marvel movie license was announced much earlier than all of those, but in fairness, they've already done quite a few figures from that license, just not the ones people are foaming at the mouth for.

It was August 2010. I remember because I made a fool of myself on YouTube when they made the announcement.
It was also the day they announced Arnie Kim had joined Hot Toys

The thing that got people thinking it was not coming was that the teaser said coming this Winter

SSC can't do a Chewbacca, they know it or they would have done it. HT has already broken ground with their POTA figures and then is the next frontier. It's happening and it'll be mindblowing.

Even if it's from ROTS:

To be honest they better step it up from those. They came out in production so so at best. So while I think they want to see how much people want Chewie (I'll be passing to be honest) I don't expect him to be next.

Milk Magazine interview in Jan 2010 with Howard confirmed a Reeve Superman, discussed here
