Your Berserker is showing nipples. Apparently no nipples allowed to be posted here at SSF. So I asked the mod is my Conan Diorama allowed since he's shows nipples too? You can't allowed one and not the other? That would be like sterotyping?

Do u know why bras were invented? It was meant to give support to the female breasts from sagging. Like the bikini top, it was never meant to conceal the nipple. In ancient Greece 2500B.C. womens breasts were adorned. Just like if it was like art. They were freely allowed to be nude. If u watch a PG-13 movie, there is not only nudity but violence & drugs depicted! Our society has changed. We accepted it. In Europe there are fashion magazine or advertisement with nude females baring all and shown in public, and that is socially acceptable. Go to Africa, and women rarely wore clothes. This society is made up of yes or no! Sooner or later, it will change. I don't know about the USA, but in Canada, women are allowed to breast feed their kids in public. Is it right or is it wrong? Is showing a "statue" of a womens breast that offensive?

It's already acceptable in the USA? Just look at what's on TV or the movies right now! If a minor can buy statues of this nature or read comic books depicting sex & violence, why haven't SSF done the same? Times has changed...after all what's more offensive, a nude statue or someone depicting murder on screen or a statue?

I'm not a comic book reader - but I do know video games depicting extreme violence, nudity or sex are rated M for mature. They are not supposed to be sold to minors.

If a boy is carrying a nude statue down a street, he would not be arrested. If u walked down a street where laws prohibits u to do so, then yes! Notice the difference? Like i said u many times, these are statues. Statue are sculptures that depict or represents a person. It's classified as a work of art. It's total legal to own a nude statue even if u are a minor.

I guess the mod is deleting my pics of "nipples" now? Glad SF doesn't censor art! As I'm writing this I am still disppointed on there stance? Thanks for whoever complaint about my thread. I guess blood or decapitated heads are okay here, but a statue of a womens breasts is not?

I love the 'a statue is art, this is a statue, therefore it's art' argument. Very 5th grade. I'm impressed with Canadian education. I'm guessing pornstars are considered national heroes for the amount of art they generate.

OK....don't show your statues at all. I really don't care. And if you want to argue it - take it up with the Administrator.

And obviously if you don't get this...then you probably won't. Dave is allowing the pics because they are statues and part of your collection...if you are showing them on a shelf. When you zoom in on the crotch and breasts of nude/semi nude statues you are going from showing your shelves and your collection to showcasing pornographic photos of statues. Yes they are statues...but your shots are only focusing on explicit shots. You could have a photo of a nude woman that many might consider as tasteful . Then if you show a close up of her crotch and nothing else...or just her breast - it becomes more porn oriented because you are not focusing on the woman as a work of beauty but only her private parts and she becomes more of a sexual object. If that whole concept is lost on you...then I don't know what to say.

That's the type of art style I paint! Your lack of inconsideration of the pics I do is out of line. The angle shots I do are an exact accordance to my other statues nude or fully clothed!

Art is not subjective, actually.

I realize those pretending to be artists need that illusion to believe that their bilge is as valuable as what real artists produce, but it doesn't make it any less delusional.

If you're photographing porn, it doesn't matter how artistically you think you're photographing it. The subject matter doesn't change. If you make a statue out of porn, it's still porn. Paint it, write it, record it and use it as a musical sample, absolutely nothing changes. It's purpose is contrary to the true psychological purpose of real art, and no matter how you dress it up, it will still not be art (let alone good art).

So feel free to be offended.
