Re: VS1976 Statue Collection 2.0

That Brandy statue was the best by Clayburn. Other statues by Moore just feel they lacked passion when they were being made. But it is still good to be a part of the collection. :duff

The Snow White piece, looks very nice overall and the print is very cool. Also, you did an excellent job on that painting. Congrats on everything! :rock

Thanks guys....

A quick pics of my paintings (If you haven't seen them already). They are both in Acrylic. My next project is Blackcat vs Catwoman and Emma Frost.

Here is Clayburn Moore's Snow White. The glasses were a pain to put on & I wasn't going to glue them on here. Wish it was better constructed for the glasses to put on. I have miss feelings about this piece. IMO, its not Moore's best work.

Snow White Part 1 of 2:

Can't say I like the way it turned out..The face looks way too cartoonish and not very seductive. The hand holding the apple looks very stiff. Those legs looks very awkward and the way they're glued together at the calves and knees deters from the statue's overall quality. This does not look like a high end statue. Disappointed in CS Moore they usually produce superbly crafted pieces...

Great Score on Snow White; Jason and Pic's as Always, I do agree with you on your comment, he has had some better pieces IMO, Fathom, Kabuki, Aphrodite IX, Witchblade just to name a few
Well I don't know if it's a great score Al but thx

I don't know if it's passion but she is very stiff. The leg glue bugs me the most here.

Thanks Firebird

:slap I didn't paint it on because it would have not looked good on her because of how the hair is painted. There would have not been a natural flow to it. Just remember, art doesn't have to be exact. This is my interpretation of Elektra :wink1:

Yah it's not Moores best work. The only thing i like is the colors on her clothing.
Congrats for the new acquisitions my friend ;)
Thx Darth

Got the Faith Maquette EX a while back but hadn't had time to post her until today. It's a nice statue but I wished it had a little more detail in it.

Just picked up Sideshow Starcraft 2; Marine Tychus Findlay Statue. One of the most detail statue I have ever seen. The base is too big though
