The art figures sculpt gives us more of the look Olivia had in the movie, clean faced with no makeup on. I prefer this to the lipstick and stylised eyebrows on the VTS. I'd be happy with a hybrid made from the best parts of both figures to be honest.

I assembled these images when the figures were first announced:

When you look at the photo of the the AF here it looks like she has an underbite. In hand it doesn't. :)

Yes I agree about the underbite thing, maybe VTS is better sculpt wise but AF has got the skin tone better. Will need to get one of these in hand as photos can often be very misleading, especially in 1/6 scale.

If people have the patience they should of cause wait till the VTS is out and then compare and choose for themselves. The VTS seems from the pictures to be the overall better option if it ever comes out - even if she wears an awful lot of makeup to work.
If you can't wait, like me, or you see details in the AF you can use on the VTS figure then apparently I'm 'hell bent on telling you that the AF is not a turd'.
Edit: just took a quick one before she goes back in the box. Not fully equipped, but the accessories are the same as the male version.

The only problem I have with the AF sculpt is that it looks exactly like a girl I dated 35 years ago, which makes it an easy pass since the VTS version doesn't give me that vibe. Other than that it looks like a solid figure and a definite compliment to the AF Dredd. :lol

35 years ago :huh ...she must have really left an impression...the one that got away or the one you hope falls off the face of the planet :wink1:

The figure looks good! Still doesn't look like the actress though...chin looks too long and/or square.

Fortunately we are still friends and she even attended my wedding in 1983 but I don't think my wife would appreciate her likeness in my detolf cabinet.

Why dont AF just release an alternate sculpt ? (a much better one), they could sink the VTS version in the water.

I was thinking for a moment I was in the Mad Max thread and I was like "yeesh."

The Dredd sculpt is good, no problems there.

It isn't just the head with AF Andersson. I don't know if it's the body underneath or the tailoring of the pants, but the whole posture of the figure looks weird I think. Looks like she needs to take dump really bad but decides to hold it in instead.

Just wanted to show a picture of how it looks with the helmet off. I'm not gonna display her, or the Epoch for that matter, without the helmet though.
I think the hair and colored come closer than the VTS head, but the eyes are too high I think. Makes the face seem longer than it should.

From certain angle AF looks good, and AF is actually more accurate, but from other angles just look like a man.

Epoch on the other hand is no where accurate but more aesthetic.
