Just wanted to show a picture of how it looks with the helmet off. I'm not gonna display her, or the Epoch for that matter, without the helmet though.
I think the hair and colored come closer than the VTS head, but the eyes are too high I think. Makes the face seem longer than it should.

Can you post pics of her from a straight on angle?
So we can see what it looks like?

This ok? Let me know if you want more. Personally I think she looks great with the helmet on, but not so much without it. But I wouldn't show the VTS without the helmet either as it doesn't really look enough like the actress - I believe the AF captures more of the likeness, but the head is just too long. I also wonder why they can be so detailed with the male face and then, for Both AF and VTS the faces have no real details such as moles and birthmarks. A problem with both versions is that they are too petite and skinny - it's annoying that female figures almost always are idealized like that (especially the VTS in this case as they even put makeup on her and made the armor tighter). The uniform should be more bulky, but at least they didn't enlarge the bust...

Sorry, slikkerias... In terms of proportions and head sculpt AF's figure looks absolutely NOTHING like Anderson from the film. Even if matherials of the costume are better than VTS' (we don't know yet) I'll still take accuracy over quality.

Well, I see how you could think that's what I meant, but really I don't think any of them look like her and therefor I wouldn't display it without the helmet on. What I meant about the AF likeness is that it does capture something right about the mouth, nose, eyes and hair but the overall proportions of the face makes it not look like her - at all. So what I mean is that none of them captures the likeness, at least the VTS looks like a real human, but just not her.

Just to show you what I mean. Likeness is not as far off as you might think and then again it just doesn't end up looking like her... think it's mostly the narrow head and eyes are too close and high.

When you get down to it, all that's wrong with the sculpt is that the eyes are too close, nose is wrong, lips are wrong, face is too long and not wide enough and the hair looks like straw...
Other than those small points it looks exactly like her, lol.

AF and VTS should stop producing the same characters. Because they're both great companies and I can't help buying both versions... and I really don't need both, lol. I'm perfectly happy with my female cop and my modded AF Max... and still the VTS Max is on its way and the Epoch on preorder. Grrrrrr...

AF did a great job with Dredd though. I'd rather they mess up Anderson then Dredd, could use the AF set to make one of the rouge female Judges that Anderson blows away, would need to replace the head and get someone on the SF boards to make the correct name tag on the vest armour.

AF made one of the rogue Judges already.

anyone decided to take out the "screen" on the arm?

it's still on my AF Dredd but i never did like that print. no idea how to remove it though.

Do you have any idea when the Alvarez will come out? It should have been out even before the female right?

As far as I am aware, Anderson was announced and put up for pre-order first . I'm not sure of time frame for Alvarez release, sorry .

Both Andersons were up for pre-order about a year ago, AF Alvarez was announced may or june of this year.

I hate it when my dreams screw with reality!
I had a dream that Monkey Depot had just sent an email asking to fulfill the rest of the payment for Anderson and a shipping email followed.
Woke up and realized it was all a dream!

:lol
Nightmare more like it.
Hope this gets released before the end of year so I can put her in my end of year collection vid.

I got a reply from vts through facebook chat, took them a week to reply..

"sorry the Epoch Cop has been postponed, we are catching up schedules at factory, our aim is to have the girl shipped around the new year, but as we share factory with our brand, so the date is not fixed, we will have shipping news updates 1-2 weeks before final shipping. sorry for the delay. thank you."

soon... been so tempted to get the art figures, i think the vest armour is better on that figure, and the lawgiver more accurate.. not sure why they have a two tone version on the promo pics

If I'm not the only person in the world that owns the AF version here's a tip. Pull up the head as much as you can so the neck is visible. Does wonders! Also some weathering is a must.
