AF is fine, but I hate how high the helmet sits without mods. And, I hate bendy hands on figures.

The helmet is VERY close to screen accurate without any mods. The hands can easily be replaced (just cut off the glove itself) with for instance Noland gloves.
The shelf presence of this figure is outstanding! (...and makes VTS Anderson look like a cheap doll.)

I decided to get her. I can always sell her if I'm not happy. I think the sculpt is just OK on her, but with some hair gel or even just water, the hair could be fixed. I wish they used sculpted hair that could be removed for the helmet. She looks snazzy with it on though even though she's without it the entire movie I believe. It's been a while since I watched it.

Yes, she only wears the helmet in one scene when they ride the bikes. She's not a bad figure, but I do agree that sculpted hair would have done wonders. If you find a good way to make her hair look right I'd love to see it. I'm considering getting another head that I could experiment on. ...by the way, I made a mole on her lip - helps the likeness a bit.

I've only really messed with rooted hair to style it once, but I've found dunking the entirety of the hair into water will hold it together fairly well without putting chemicals in it. Although with Anderson it's more complex obviously since her hair is very distinct.

Since the Dredd figure thread was removed (I think?) is her gear more accurate for the AF version to use? I know the Lawgiver is since it's got the Glock grip on it and generally looks better. I thought about buying up some loose parts to throw on him.

Well, yes. The Lawgiver is good and her helmet shape looks a bit more accurate on him too, but it needs a repaint as it's way too clean and red. Also the visor is only painted on unlike the AF that's semi transparent.
Other than that I believe that the AF is as good or better.

I'd think her helmet would be too small on him, but I'm guessing no?

No, it looks correct actually. It looks way too big on her. They have clearly compromised to not to make her head smaller like on the AF Anderson - AF version looks correct with the helmet on, but without it her head is way too narrow.

In that case I'd like to get one for him, but I don't have the balls to try and mod it myself.

:lol Yeah, when I checked my order I couldn't believe I had to go back to 2015. I knew it had been a long time but didn't think it'd been that far back.
