Yeah, they did well with The Matrix and since then haven't been able to write a decent script. I have seen the Matrix sequels several times, but I'm still not a big fan of where the story went. The original was a fantastic film though.

Cloud Atlas was just overall confusing and strange. The actors performing so many different characters, some that just looked truly awful in the costume makeup. My least favourite part of the film is probably the future Tom Hanks and Halle Berry talking in that ridiculous English.

These guys hit a home run with The Matrix...I like Reloaded and can do without Revolutions. Pretty much everything else they've done since has been pretty bad IMO.

Russo Brothers a few wrong moves from going from this.

Saw it. Enjoyed it, but felt like they took an easy story and polluted it with big words and ideas but didn't bother explaining any of them. Action and visuals were great though.

I would watch this movie in spite of the critics...if it weren't for the two lead actors. Mila + Channing = blech

Is it wrong that I really want to see this? I know it's garbage, but something about this is really intriguing. I think it's the ridiculous premise and the pretty dresses.

switch it with scarlet johannson and maybe orlando bloom with the elf ears and maybe it'll do better. Mr. Green think its a good movie, maybe even great if there's a sequel that explains more. but that's just cause peep don't understand and not for Mr. Green. The story is fine. like who the heck discover that he/she is all a sudden a royal matriarch and is gonna be richer than all and could potentially ruined every other royals? Mr. Green think peep have seen too much now a days, that it is harder n harder to find a good high.

no matter, not everyone gonna like this or that anyway

Well I thought the visuals were great! The story was definitely not the best, but the visuals made up for it.

Have you ever been typing and just went "Yeah well I thought it was great because...crap!" and then had to go back and switch the pronoun to "Mr. Green?"

yea sometimes. but its rarely now outside of the dream thread. this is a great way of mental development; character development. unlike an English novice who just say, "I like", "I'am", "I know", "I...", etc. , it takes time and development to channel one's thought into a persona. Beyoncé created a Sasha persona to channel her thoughts, energy. First person is boring; third is more fun. For the record, Mr. Green is lousy at English.

Saw it the other night, and I thought it was a fun movie. Nothing spectacular, but still entertaining. My only real complaint was Redmayne. Man he was terrible. Every time he talked my buddy and I chuckled. Visually speaking, it was terrific.

Are you in the United States? Back in the day there was a pretty funny Seinfeld episode that featured a guy who always referred to himself in the third person. It's hard not to think of that when reading your posts. "George is getting upset!" :D

I saw this a few hours ago with my sister. I thought it was kinda campy and fun. The acting wasn't too great, but the visuals and costumes were really cool.
