Wow!! I have received email from SS stating that my waiting list for Rogue Comiquette Ex has been converted!

just got conversion on Mystique ex. (yeah silly belt buckle) it was placed on

2008-08-19 17:35:30

and converted today, so three months for that one to convert. not to sure if i'll keep her, but i'm thinking this would look killer along side my lara pf.
anyone have an opinion on that match up

I don't have either but I was looking at Mystique the other day, I was pondering it but I don't any other females to match her up with...

well i can't believe this one. i placed waitlist reservation for sabretooth lsb on 2008-10-21, yes only a month ago, and with an es of only 150 it just converted tonight. of course i've already cemented myself one from another freak.

but what does this say about the ability of waitlists to convert, and even more maybe it says something about the economy we are in right now. if i was anyone even remotely interested in something i'd be getting on that waitlist.

Second, how is this possible< i got on the waitlist for this like in October and I have seen countless members get converted before me and all of them exclusives, I signed up for the regular because I thought if anyone was gonna cancel this statue it would be the people who missed out on the exclusive and settled for the Reg. edition.

most likely the people that have ordered the regular edition is the dealers or lcs if you want to call them that.
most dealers don't get the chance to order ex. versions, those are mostly sold online to people like us. alot of dealers don't like to have to explain to customers why this particular statue is worth $100 more than the reg edition.
especially since if you look on the ss website alot of the pieces are listed at or next to the same price, of course alot of people that look at them prices don't consider extra costs such as frieght and brokerage etc.

the reason dealers have to ask more for ex. statues is because if, if ss actually let's them have any ex versions, the lcs cost on the ex is the same as regular joe off the street, or ordering online.

the only time that this policy changes is when ss get alot of ex version cancellations, or you'll see an item like the hellboy II samaritan, which has gone up on second chance. then ss will upgrade (if you'd call it that) a dealers order from regular version to the ex version.

so that's why the regular edition most likely isn't converting for you, since it's dealers that have ordered most of them, cause they get their % off of the retail price, and dealers aren't as flakey when it comes to cancelling their orders.
after all if they get stuck with some dead stock, they can just fire sale dead stock out at a discount or even cost and get out of it.

Well i put myslef on the regular waitlist about a month ago and that converted, but i wanted the indiana jones so i cancelled it. Then i bought the indiana jones and had some money left over so put myself back but this time on the ex list. That converted! I have no idea...? I hope my Ironman Lifesize bust converts becuase i did the same thing with that. I thought it was this month and had no money, and now im learning that it might be early FEB.
