Just got an update regarding my barcelona chairs and telescope.

The nice lady making my Barcelona chairs just sent me this.. The faux leather is looking GOOD. Much better than the felt cushions as you can see.

This is actually my FIRST diorama build project.

Very pro looking for a first build. Literally leaves my jaw on the floor everytime I check into this thread.

Small update... Here are a few pictures of the barbie entertainment system I'm going to mod and paint.

I sized the opening in the wall precisely to fit the television. The shelves are cut to correct size. You can see a scratch shelf below underneath the televsion (now primed for paint aps).

My plan is to add a red LED power light to the Television and a super bright white LED to backlight the Frame of Texas Chainsaw massacre seen below.I already have the correctly sized piece of clear acrlic for the screen. Need to add some scan lines and print the frame out on semi-transluscent photopaper.

Levit I may be offering a limited run of the pre-painted and modded Televisions with electronics installed. It won't be too cheap considering the 12v AC adapter alone is $20. It all depends on how smoothly this goes, so the process could be made easier. If the stereo were more accurate mold I would offer than too... as it comes with the TV. Maybe I'll include some painted stereos too.

Small update. More firsts for me. Today was my first time ever soldering or putting together any kind of electronics. Went to radio shack and picked up some LEDs, wiring, solder, soldering gun and one heat shrunk tubing. Came home and put together the prototype lighting rig for my television. Still lots to do. Turns out the super bright led is very narrow and focused light wise so I had to aim it at the back of the inside of the television and use some tin foil to reflect the light back. Not sure this is The best solution. Any ideas welcome!

The red led with fiber optic is going to work great for the tv set power light.
