First level of paint on the tiles:

The finished tile! Really happy with it! Looks just like slate.

The view from Patrick's apartment. Notice the finished railing on the balcony.

The dio taking shape. I touched up the walls in spots and cleaned up the black edging:

I had a little snafu with my entertainment center stereo. The adhesive on the masking tape I used was too good aparantly and it peeled up some of the paint revealing the primer underneath. I shouldve sealed it. Live and learn. I'll have to fix it moving forward.

Another small(ish) update. Managed to get my electronic components painted and my balcony tiles and railing basecoated.

Now I have to figure out how to turn this:

I'm glad you left the dio open to the left. You could still build the bathroom. I think it's important to be able to portray the "I want you to clean your v-----" scene.

Anyway some more progress!

Here's the television wiring and lighting mods finished. Still waiting on the video screenshot and a final paint of the exterior of the TV.

And the FLOOR IS FINISHED! This looks great! I'm really happy with how this looks.

When I set out to do this I was setting myself up for how crappy it would turn out. I had ZERO diorama building experience. I had never used a power tool (other than a drill), an airbrush or a soldering iron. I had never used casting resin, or wired electronics. I've kind of surpassed my own expectations. LOL.

Thats some nice work your doing on your dio Wake. Impressive also that your learning as you go. Keep it up
