I hate you.

Come to Disneyland more and it might happen to you!

Ok here's a few more random pics.

All Star Wars fans... Get ready for November 16 at Disneyland Resort!

I was there today, and saw all the signs are already in place. At Innoventions, they've got Star Wars Launch Bay. Where Captain EO use to be is something like "Path of the Jedi". I think this is going to be a show/movie about the story of Luke Skywalker. Surprise, surprise! I saw something that was covered on top of the People Mover track. This is the same attraction that was previously the Rocket Rods. Not sure if they're going to use the track only for displaying props or if it will actually be a ride. I think it will be the former, unfortunately.

I think it's just a sign that will say "Season of the Force"?

Anyway, I took Monday off so I'll be there!

Oh man.... Star Wars Season of the Force.... it is incredible. The amount of Star Wars stuff to do at Disneyland right now is just insane. Maybe this is standard at Disney World during Star Wars Weekends, but I felt like this was the best it has ever been.

1) Star Tours - New scene on Jakku featuring John Boyega, new hologram with BB-8, and while I only went on it once, I noticed that Boba Fett was added to the beginning of the Vader opening, and the Millennium Falcon was added to the ending of the Coruscant location.

2) Path of the Jedi - Playing in Tomorrowland Theater, this short film is a compilation of episode 1-6, but focus on the jedi and the dark side, closing with the trailer for The Force Awakens. It's cool.

3) Hyperspace Mountain - WOW, this is the best Space Mountain has ever been. With ride safety briefing with Admiral Ackbar, music by John Williams, and X-Wings and TIE Fighters flying around here and there, this is a LOT of fun. It could be better, but as a seasonal overlay, this is awesome.

4) Star Wars Launch Bay - an exhibit featuring props and costumes from all 7 films, including some props from the animated Rebels. There's also meet & greet with Chewbacca and Darth Vader, and of course a gift shop with very high end product. The prices for many of the toys are now retail price... really surprised!

5) Galactic Grill (Tomorrowland Terrace) - the entire menu is Star Wars themed, with food like Han Burger or Darth by Chocolate, it's a lot of fun.

6) Other food - BB-8 Droid Sipper Cup, TIE Fighter Popcorn Bucket, there is so much going on.

7) First Order Stormtroopers walk around Tomorrowland and they have phrases that they say.

8) Jedi Training Academy - Not open yet, still being reconstructed

Anyway, I had so much Star Wars fun and I'm dying to go back and do it again. Photos aren't ready yet so I'll post more other things until they are.

Here's Frontierland shots... a lot of things around the Rivers of America will change forever once they start construction on Star Wars Land.

For anyone going to the Seasons of the Force, can you find out any information on the lifesized Force Awakens Stormtrooper statue selling for $9,000 in the Launch Bay? (It's standing next to the lifesize jumbo vintage Boba Fett statue.) Is this Sideshow, Gentle Giant, etc.? How can one purchase this?

Unfortunately i didn't see this until now so I don't have an answer for you. You can probably call Disneyland and find out though.

Wow! I really love all these great pictures being posted here. This thread has been my favorite for quite a while, so I just wanted to say thanks to Coheteboy and everyone else who's been posting. Keep up the great work!

Thanks! I'm just getting started with the Star Wars stuff!! Unfortunately a lot of the things i shot are out of order and it's easier if i just do it in the order that i shot them.

Here's the Star Wars Launch Bay at night. Originally INNOVENTIONS, this building is now called the Tomorrowland Expo Center.

New day... Hyperspace Mountain! This is quite honestly the most fun Space Mountain ever. Before, it was fun but there was no story, you just went through the dark listening to music. But now... with John Williams playing, wings reporting in, TIE fighters and X-Wings... it's... so fun.

Then there's Path of the Jedi in the Tomorrowland Theater. It's a 10 minute clip show of scenes from ep1 through 6, mostly on Jedi and Sith. Then the trailer for The Force Awakens.

And Star Tours added a new scene on Jakku. It's a great one. And a holographic BB-8. The other scenes have also been refreshed! Now with the Darth Vader opening, Boba Fett flies in with him. Now in Naboo, we nail Jar Jar on the windshield. And now in Coruscant ending, you see the Falcon with Chewie in the cockpit rather than a row of star speeders.

Still more to come eventually

Hyperspace mountain and Star Tours sure sounds like tons of fun. I'm curious about the scenes and bits from Force Awakens. Are they all taken from the trailers and TV spots, or are there some bits from the movie that hasn't been shown before?

Also, its fun to see that Spider-Man statue along with the rest of the Marvel cinematic stuff. I wonder if that is what the costume will look like in Civil War.
Great pictures!

Nice pics. I haven't been to a Disney park in a long time. But I've been getting excited about Disney stuff recently from a few animation and vintage item auctions by Profiles in History and Van Eaton Gallery.

I think that's an just an actor in a generalized spidey suit. Don't think it has any bearing on what Holland's spidey will look like.
