Last up in the Star Wars Launch Bay is the shop by the exit. They're selling higher end stuff here, like statues, gentle giant jumbo figures, sideshow 12", etc. And costumes.

This mostly wraps up my coverage on Season of the Force at Disneyland. Jedi Training Academy relaunches December 8th. Walt Disney World's Season of the Force launched today, with the fireworks show coming in January. I'll have more miscellaneous pics coming.

Hyperspace mountain and Star Tours sure sounds like tons of fun. I'm curious about the scenes and bits from Force Awakens. Are they all taken from the trailers and TV spots, or are there some bits from the movie that hasn't been shown before?

Also, its fun to see that Spider-Man statue along with the rest of the Marvel cinematic stuff. I wonder if that is what the costume will look like in Civil War.
Great pictures!
All the scenes that have to do with Ep.VII are clean. No spoilers. Nothing that we haven't already seen in the trailers.

That Spider Man is actually a cast member in a costume for photo taking. I'm hoping they change it once in a while with Iron Man. They already have photo meet and greets with Thor and Captain America outside the building.

Thank you for sharing pics Coheteboy!

FYI, the Jedi Training Academy is already back up and running. They had several shows during the day 11/25/2015. The kids get to battle Vader and Maul, as usual, but I'm willing to bet they will add Kylo Ren in the mix soon. Fun!

They're officially adding the Seventh Sister on December 8th. The Jedi Training Academy is currently running without the main stage, so it's just filler until it's ready. The new name of it is Jedi Training Academy: Trial of the Temple or something like that. It just opened today at Disney World so you can find pics of her i think.

Disney's Hollywood Studios' Season of the Force basically gets the same stuff:

Jedi Training academy
Star Wars Path of the Jedi
Star Tours update
Star Wars Launch Bay (with meet & greet with Vader and Chewbacca... and Jawas and Boba Fett)
Special food offerings

Coming in January is a new fireworks show with music from John Williams, Episode 1 through 7.

Really great pictures! Thanks Coheteboy.

Heh, I kind of feel a bit silly for thinking the guy in the spider-man costume was a statue. Looking back at the pictures it does seem pretty obvious its a real person.

Thanks for the kind words about the photos! Glad y'all like 'em! Here's a few more non Star Wars pics...

"it's a small world!" got it's annual dress up for the holidays. I haven't gone on it yet but will eventually.

The castle has forgone it's usual holiday icicle dressing this year to keep with the 60th anniversary theme.

What's really sad is that soon, 2/3rds of Frontierland will shut down to prepare for Star Wars Land. As much as I love Star Wars, this land absolutely does not belong in the original Disneyland. This park already commands such a high attendance that it doesn't NEED more. It's maxed out already, with more rides than 3/4ths of Walt Disney World already. The Rivers of America will be forever shortened, the Big Thunder Ranch will be closed.... so much of Walt's original park will be disfigured. I'm really sad.

Jingle Cruise is back and still has more decorations than Magic Kingdom. I'll have day pics soon.

No worries. It's an honest mistake. I wanted to take pictures with the Web Head but the line was too long. It's the one thing Disneyland is never in short supply of... freakin' LINES! And I'm talking about falling in line for everything you can imagine. Yes, even when it's time to go home. Gotta wait in line to get out. :lol

Same here. I'm a huge fan of the history of the park. The history behind the development of the rides and attractions. My friends will sometimes ask me, "Hey, what did they have over here before?" LOL!
It's nice to find bits and pieces of the park that were there way back in 1955 (i.e. the ticket booth in front of It's a Small World, Dominquez tree, Test wall, etc.). All these details that Walt set into place, the way he envisioned it as he walked around the park, slowly being changed or removed with time. :(

I'm an even bigger fan of Star Wars than Disney, but this decision to remove attractions to make way for SW Land is very sad.

Very sad indeed.

Few more pics for y'all.

Yes sir! Haunted Mansion Holiday is amazing! Both inside and out. But my opinion is biased since the Haunted Mansion is my favorite attraction ever at DLR.
Oh yeah, almost forgot... anyone who hasn't already visited or hasn't been back in years, check out the Hatbox Ghost (in the Haunted Mansion) pictured above. He has been on hiatus for about 45 years. The Haunted Mansion itself is 46 years old this year, which means he was taken down shortly after he was displayed.

Here's what he looked like in 1969:

Here he is today:

The special effects of his head disappearing from atop his body and into the hatbox he carries in his left hand is awesome! :clap
