Don cheadle mentioned they are working on a war machine spin off movie.u think the price of this would go upma considerable amount,especially since it has a smaller es than the mark 6.also since I'm relatively new to this hobby could u guys tell me if these statues are hand made or not?
The value depending on how well they're produced will probably remain or rise considering the low edition size and the amount of people who want the MK VI / War Machine set. I also doubt highly that there will be another War Machine Maquette anytime soon considering the price tag.
They're sculpted by hand and I'm pretty sure they're painted mostly by hand I could be wrong. I know the MK VI chin was painted by hand!

I'm still on the fence if I should dive in and get this one here. It's awesome looking for sure, but with the QC problems that were evident on the iron man maquette, I'm wondering if the same would happen here....

Not really. If your maquette has a problem, SS will replace it. If they can't they refund your money.
