Sadly no. Spent too much over Christmas and the last few months. Then there's the Hot Toys Mark VI that must be fairly due from Sideshow soon... or I would have had these in a heartbeat!

These items really look epic.

Just got my War Machine.

This thing is crazy :rock

Two quick shots:

Why does WM have green on him? wasn't it just silver in the film?

They might have went with the actual suit that the actors wear. The Mark VI is actually missing some chest pieces that are visible in the film. I actually found a picture of the Mark VI being filmed and it is similar to the maquette.

Still waiting for a youtube video, guys...

What are your first impressions of the maquette? Is it everything you thought it would be? Any criticisms? Anything better than you expected????

looks good so i'm glad i didn't cancel this great piece

however displaying the mark VI next to him seems like a must but sadly i cancelled mark VI a few months ago because i didn't like the pose of it

I thought he was going to be noticeably taller than Iron Man based on the promo pics but they appear to be almost the same height. Nothing major to gripe about though.

War Machine does appear more rugged than Iron Man and is perfectly bulky. I almost like this one more than the Mark VI.

Silly Vaako!!!! :panic:

You should have kept it cause I had the same feelings you had and I now consider it one of my best pieces.....

If you have an opportunity to get it, do not hesitate......it's awesome....

maybe i will but i'm afraid the price has already gone up now and with optimus prime maquette and daredevil comiquette on it's way i don't think i can afford it at this moment so guess it will be war machine standing alone on my shelf

You will be okay though cause I know a couple of friends who could only afford one and they chose WM cause it is so cool....

I wonder if Sideshow will do a Mark 2 Maquette.....

Cheers..

Hmm you could be right and in the 2 pics you posted the green is very subtle and looks like weathering to the silver parts. :)

The youtube video, I will leave that to Averone and his army of IM collection.

My first impression was this is the reason that I bought the IM Mark VI. I think everyone that knows me, and my collecting habits, know that I don't like Iron Man all that much. But after seeing the War Machine in the movies and then the release of this statue. You can say that War Machine caused me to spend an extra $500 on my collection. Then when I opened up War Machine, I was so happy that I decided to add these two IM's to my collection. I really have no criticism for this piece. No paint issues, no packaging issues and no lighting issues. But I also had a chance to see him at SDCC 2010, and I knew that I was going to love him, if he came out looking like the War Machine that was on display there. I even slept in my collection room last night, so that I could wake up to him...LOL!!! I know that may sound corney, but only a few statues I have made me want to wake to view it first thing in the morning.

So all in all, those that have suffered through the IM Mark VI chin paint issues. Will be greatly reward for all the troubles and heartache once they have War Machine in hand, I promise!...:yess:

For all of those that have complimented on my War Machine photos. It has not fallen upon deaf ears and I greatly appreciate all those that have commented.

100 thank yous' to all of you!!!

Especially my boy Ave' for fallen asleep at his desk waiting to veiw them...:yess: you're the best man! Now it's your turn to really turn this IM party out!

P.S.

Poor SF no photos of War Machine yet...:lol @ them over there...:D more so the Mods than anything.

I feel like it's almost pointless to post pics after yours have gone up IL. :lol

After that, I feel it pointless to post my own IM collection after Averone has posted everything he has. :thud:

Just.can't.win.
