i would post your pictures there but im lazy. That's 5 seconds of my time i could be spending in the sandbox.

I wouldn't mind, but for some reason I think they (Mods) would say something to you for doing that for me. Those Mods over there are A.N.A.L. retentive about me. I must have done something to them in a past life...:dunno I say try it and you'll see what I'm talking about...:lol then no more will need to be said.

I'm a little confused now with all the green/no green talk. Which way was it in the movie? I suspect the green, but really not sure TBH...

Well the proto has the green & I guess my photo from SDCC has the green, so that's 2 out of 3. The best person(s) to ask or to answer the movie question is Averone or The Josh. I'm pretty sure they would have the answer for us...:dunno

I don't really recall any green and looking at a couple of screen caps and didn't see anything. I don't recall any greenish at all at comic con either.

Edit: Looking at a few more shots in this thread I think its more lighting and photoeffect than the piece. Making the scratched metal looking green.

The green-ish areas on the maquette weren't green in the movie but here are some pics from SDCC.

It isn't so much green but more like a grayish-green. I pointed it out a bit earlier that the design of the maquette could be based off the film suit rather than the final CGI suit. The Mark VI is the same way, having a different chest area from the final CGI version.

Well Raikirik is all over this, so I'm comfortable with the way the WM looks, but like The Josh said I took my photos under some bright lights. All the photos from SDCC doesn't have light that bright making it harder to see the greenish look.

I just looked at my photos and it was there as well. I think its more supposed to worn in those areas.

Following up my previous post in regards to the Mark VI, here it is.

Chest.jpg

I know this is a pic of the Mark IV, but the VI has the exact same thing.

The chest area has plating that rises up and looks connected. This is absent on the practical suit and the maquette, where they look separated and have a different shape.

It sure does have that effect in person and honestly, it doesn't take away from the statue at all. :D
