This upcoming movie is making me want to start playing again. Trying to resist spending money and wasting countless hours at a computer screen.

it seems like this is going to be a big deal, beyond just the people wanting a Warcraft film---considering they finished filming like a year ago and they still have almost a year before it comes out, that's some pretty serious post production time

I'm an old school Warcraft 1,2, Beyond the Dark Portal, 3 and the Frozen Throne fan. The original series as a RTS, not the MMORPG crap. I even remember struggling through "Orcs & Humans" after constantly playing the "better" Warcraft 2 just because of the story.

This movie looks remarkably true to the series. The look thus far looks just like Blizzard's CGI cinematics. I really hope this movie does well because I would like to see a sequel that follows Warcraft 2 and the Beyond the Dark Portal expansion.

Some footage got leaked. This is 100% non-canon.

Durotan, Orgrim and many other orcs aren't green.
Guldan opens the Portal by himself.
The Portal leads straight to Azeroth instead of being "a bridge between worlds".
Female Orcs are too cute, Garona is just their version of Marvel's Gamora.
etc
So yeah, this is not "WarCraft" I wanted to see all these years. Still interesting tho.
In terms of visuals and animation it's not realistic but on par with WoW cinematics, which is good enough.

Durotan looks odd to me. Isn't Garona half orc half human? She looks 100% human with orc tusks.

I don't know all Warcraft lore, especially stuff from the first three games, as I was introduced to the series in WoW, but it still bothers me that they're changing things. Regardless I think the movie will be great.

He's the main character from the Horde side so obviously they've tried to make his facial structure more human.
Very odd indeed.
Yeah, I know who Durotan is. At least I think I do. Thrall's father right? Best friend of Grommash? Something like that.

I guess Blizzard did the same when they gave Thrall human eyebrows to make him familiar/relatable.

She's half-draenei, they all look very human.
Ah, I guess that makes more sense.

I'm excited for this movie. Never played the MMO but loved I,II,III!

This with churn out some fantastic collectables as well.
