See, no, it it's a statue, it's a solid piece with little to no moving parts. to me, I couldn't justify more than 250-300$ for thatt. with a figure, it moves, and the display can be changed. this makes me more likely to shell out a higher price.

Wow bro, really havn't done your homework on raynor have you? It has several moving parts and switch out weapons, up/down visor. Test drive on sideshows site! :lecture

Little misunderstanding there. My comment was directed at the guy talking about how statues are better than 1/6th, and that an articulated figure, like the one I posted there just couldn't compare. his exact word was "meh"

I was saying, that for 500$ I'd rather have a space marine Similar to the Jim Raynar figure. and that It CAN look as good as a statue.

Only it would be better becuase of It having several moving parts and switch out weapons, up/down visor.

and becuase it has moving parts, it's therefore overall BETTER than a statue, as you can change it's options up.

Oh my bad. :slap

My brother is a massive GW fan, just came back from a doubles Tournament at Warhammer world last weekend.

He actually had a trainee position for a while but they let him go because he wasn't quite the right fit...he wasn't as mental as most of the staff & a little refrained for what they wanted, which was a shame as he relocated to Scotland from Essex for the job as it was a dream of his, cost £,000's to get there but he loved it.

He now works in the industry still but for Wayland Games.

He has issues with GW's practices of supplying Wayland they seem to purposely delay releases to them so you can only get stuff on release day from GW stores.

I think he'd love some proper statues etc. would make him literally explode.

I haven't been into it since the early 2000's really Necromunda & Blood Bowl were my game' of choice, I did fancy getting into Battlefleet Gothic but never did.
My biggest problem was always the time to paint everything & my skills were beyond **** tbh so never really got too deep.

However the Subject matter is still amazing to em, I love reading the Codex's & novels.
The universe & background for 40K is immense, stories are unreal.

But yeah WAY OT so sorry about that.

Neil
