OK, I hate zombie movies but my wife wanted to see it so I took her. I really loved it!
This is getting great reviews. I am surprised and my curiosity is piqued. I will probably see this.

When I saw that Ebert gave it 3.5 stars I decided to give in to my wife's desire to see it. Unlike Twilight, this was something we both enjoyed.

Saw this last night. Personally I wasn't too impressed with it but then again I'm not a huge fan of zombie comedies with the exception of Zombieland.
I did when I heard this was being made. I liked it. Going to see the film tomorrow. One of the local radio hosts said it was his favorite zombie movie since Shaun of the Dead, so I was surprised to hear its not only good, but that good. Zombieland was one of the last good zombie movies IMO. But nothing comes close to Walking Dead, not even Romero.
I hate to hear people online say this on other websites. This movie is getting pretty good reviews and I hear it is actually funny, but the Twilight comparisons might make people skip this one only because of that. The Twilight hate might ruin this movie, we will see.

yeah I am glad about that, but you have no idea the amount of twilight hate postings I see about this movie.

Unfortunately to me at least it felt a lil' like Twilight with zombies with some added humor. It had a few funny moments but there was nothing really laugh out loud for me. In fact there were maybe 2 or 3 times when the audience really laughed the entire movie. It got plenty of chuckles but few LMAO moments.

But have you actually seen Twilight? is not a sarcastic question, I ask for real, I think most of the people that are criticizing this as twilight wanna be didn't even see Twilight to begin with lol

Twilight is the most braindead movie franchise in existence. It's devoid of any REAL human emotion, and simply exists to titillate. the fragile minds of teenage girls.

I sat through the first 2 Twilights but after that I called it quits. Like I said though, I seem to be the odd man out with this movie cause my friends I went to see it with liked it and apparently it's getting good reviews. But then again I'm often told my taste in movies is questionable especially since I actually like the Star Wars prequels so...
