Scott no offense bro, but if you're not going to stand up for yourself on ebay and just be "polite" to obvious jerk-offs then why even bother posting this here? You need to grow a thick skin on Ebay, because there are a lot of people looking to scam you or threaten you with negative feedback so that they can get THEIR way, even though they are probably making the BS up.

PS: I have just blocked that ebayer from all of my listings.

I appreciate the constructive criticism Nash. But I always try to deal with unhappy buyers as profesionally and courtesly as possible at first. I think I've had 2 or 3 out of several hundred transactions. Once you start shouting and cussing, you loose all credibility.

But, I left part of the story out. After this crazy woman's 2 emails this afternoon, I tried to send her:

You are a psycho. Glad I don’t know you personally.

Just scan through your feedback. I guess EVERYONE else has a problem except for you. Couldn’t be you. Just remember to tell your twelve other personalities that, nut job.

But she set up her email to reject any of my emails after sending me her first two.

So I contacted Ebay, forwarded them the two emails, and they may or may not take care of the situation.

this is certainly nothing to get upset over. It will make for good discussion for the next day or two. After that, I consider it over. I just feel sorry for whomever she comes in contact with.

I know what you're saying, and I wasn't referring to resorting to her level by cussing and throwing stupid insults around. I mean more so of just overall being cautious about things. I would never ever ever ever ship anything to someone with that much negative feedback. I would have immediately refunded their payment and left it at that.

also, it's a great idea to include insurance automatically, don't give the buyer a choice because 99% of the time the buyer is going to be a cheap-ass and not opt for the insurance. You must realize that the insurance is for YOUR safety and not the buyer's safety, although it does appear that it would be for the buyer's safety upon first glance....that however is incorrect.

It just my observation since the start of this thread that you have run into a few people who are trying to bully or take advantage of you in some way for their own personal gain. now you should ask yourself, why that is?

I got a score of 478 and growing. 1 person left negative, and 1 neutral (now, thanks to this lady). I deal with it whenever I get motivated to sell. It's just part of the business, I'm used to it. I usually cancel any zero feedback bidders and am very cautious in my proceedings. I'll have put up about 30 items once I've cleared the space I want, so if all I have to deal with is this nutjob, it's all good. I don't let anyone push me around (unfortunately, Ebay's new rules may make that more difficult).

but, because of your advice, I think I will make insurance mandatory on the polystone stuff. It just sucks cause you can't buy that insurance online, requires a visit to the post office.
