best. Post. EVAR!!!!!!!!! :bow

The Source was awful. I downloaded that and it was just plain awful. The villain was ridiculous. Then again, every villain post-Kurgan has been laughable.

Wouldn't be hard to do :lol

I quite enjoyed Endgame. But then again I liked the TV Show (I've got all 5 seasons on DVD). But I agree that 2 is a travesty and 3 is a blatant exploitation of the original while adding nothing new.

I was never a fan of the TV show, nor the 2nd and 3rd movies. But I must say, the Original Highlander did kick major @$$. I watched it the other day on HBO and I quite enjoyed it. Kinda hard to imagine Sean Connery with a last name of RAMIREZ, but I got over it. The only thing I didn't like, was the love interest for Macleod/Nash. She just didn't do it for me, but I suppose she did it for people in the 80s. Plus, Clancy Brown owns all.

On the TV show, can someone explain if the Macleod from the movie and TV are related? Same person?

Duncan MacLeod was Connors cousin, born about 70 years after Connor.

Here's a quote from the pilot episode which did feature both McLeods

"Same clan, different vintage" - Connor McLeod to Slan Quince.

One thing I did like about Endgame was it fleshed out the relationship between the two McLeods showing by flashback their relationship over the centuries.

Endgame rawked if you ask me. I like to consider myself a fan of all things Highlander, but I'll never defend Highlander 3. (HL2 doesnt exist, just ask Panzer and Davis). Any way, I loved that line by Connor in the first Episode. And not to spilt hairs but there is 6 seasons not 5.

So its officail, Nick died during a solo viewing of Highlander:monkey2

Its to bad, but it happens everyday. Another life lost to the awesomeness of Highlander.

Upon learning that no quality Highlander experiences were to follow this initial awesome viewing I'm sure he was left with no choice but to sever his own head!!!

Oh if only the Krusade were here, we could have saved him from himself!!!

Bravo King. :clap

News to hand; Nay sayer tries to make good and has his essence sucked out of him by the total awesomeness of The f'un Kurgan. The Kurgan lives on.

Why didn't someone tell us Nick was (now) once an immortal?

It's the first I've ever heard of a self sacrificing Krusader. Unrool. :rock :rock

I stand corrected. The silly part is I actually have ALL six and I still got it wrong.... Got too many DVD's maybe. That said, Season 6 was really a whole season of Pilots for Raven, until you got to the two part series finale, which I quite enjoyed.

I don't have Highlander Raven but I do have all the Dynamite Highlander Comics

Technically they're clansmen, not cousins. They just refer to each other that way.

Tessa - How long have you two known each other? Are you related?

Duncan MacLeod - We're clansmen. When I was growing up, there was a legend in my clan about a strange man in my grandfather's time who was killed in battle and then miraculously revived.

Connor MacLeod - Everyone thought it was witchcraft.

Duncan MacLeod - I thought it was an old wives' tale. Until one day . . .

Tessa - I know. Someone killed you, but you didn't die.

Connor MacLeod - And then I found him, well, you know, the way someone found me.

Duncan MacLeod - Connor taught me everything I needed to know to survive as an Immortal. The rules. The tactics needed to win.

Connor MacLeod - As once someone taught me.

As both Connor's father and Duncan's father were the chieftain (albeit two generations apart) then its possible they have a blood relation, but its pretty much Highlander canon (at least in the TV show) now that all immortals are orphans or foundlings, which would make that unlikely.
