Great, now Mikey's cancelling his Terminators. Soon, others will follow, sacrificing T2 for SW items. Money will be moved, but if everyone cancels $300 worth of orders for $300 worth of new preorders, has SS really made any more money? No.

But T2 might suffer.

Maybe Tom meant that'll we'll just see a preview or see the pre-order this year, making Sarah a 2007 release.

I hope so SL, I remember reading it from a chat session I believe sometime around Toyfair when the T2 12" line was announced.

I actually thought about it at one point, but now there's no way I would cancel. Especially since I have the exclusives on order.

I can't wait to get Arnie and Robert, and I hope once they ship, Sarah is announced. The exclusives are awesome!

I had to bail on repainting the 1/6 Barbie motorcycle to make the T-2 bike for now, but the Barbie harley is the right size with a lot of good detail. When things settle down, I will make the changes to give Arnie a Fatboy!

Yeah, I know those guys, Ex Prod Josh F (former neighbor) and Jim M but haven't read JF's pilot, would be fun to write an Ep though, wouldn't it?

Curious where they'll take the story -- will it take place after T2... or between T1 and T2 when John is very young... or just a completely different version, so they can go younger with the cast (a Dark Angel type thing)?

From Variety: "Warner Bros. TV has set David Nutter to direct the pilot for "The Sarah Connor Chronicles," prompting Fox Broadcasting to officially greenlight production on the "Terminator"-themed project.

Nutter, whose last 12 pilots have all been picked up to series, also will serve as exec producer. Andy Vajna and Mario Kassar's C2 Pictures, which produced the most recent "Terminator" feature, is producing with Warner Bros. TV. Fox made a put pilot commitment to "Connor" last fall (Daily Variety, Nov. 10), picking up the script from exec producer Josh Friedman ("War of the Worlds"). Kassar and Vajna will also exec produce.

As outlined in Friedman's script, new installment in the "Terminator" franchise revolves around robo-warrior Connor and her savior son, John Connor. C2 senior veepee of development James Middleton, who's a producer on the project, said last fall that "Connor" will explore what happened to Sarah Connor after the end of "T2," when the character went on the run."

While most of T-3 doesn't hold up, I do like that they chose to go for the mega-unhappy ending...it was nice to not have a pat, easy ending, and I would be really happy to see whole movie about the war between mankind and Skynet.
