Many people whine for a reason - I hit a patch of black ice and spun around in the road several times before slamming straight into a telephone pole. I was extremely lucky I wasn't dead, didn't take anyone else out, didn't hit a house (a couple blocks up they were close to the road) and that my not even two year old car could be repaired.

Yeah. I whine. It scares the hell out of me and I despise it. I literally start shaking now when I'm at work and it's snowing, knowing I have to drive home in it. It's only good for Christmas and Christmas Eve, as far as I'm concerned, and even then, I only like flurries.

I moved out of North Dakota because I was completely burnt out on snow and cold.

Now I miss it and want to move back, but overall life does not allow for it right now. Someday. I was thoroughly stoked last year when we had a 3 foot snowfall here in the high desert. This past week we got a VERY little snow but it has been cold enough to keep it around for a few days. We are supposed to get more precipitation this week and I hope it stays cold enough to make it snow and keep that around for a while as well.

I hate the winter months here as well, but summer time is beautiful and one of the most scenic places on earth.

He was kidding Agen, Summers don't look like that there, not even in Anchorage Alaska. They are on the Pacific coast, so despite some may think or say, they actually get grass and leaves on their trees. lol

Well I knew he was kidding, I've seen photos of Alaska in the summertime. But someone else said something about Alaska right after him so I assumed that's where he lived. I still wanna go there, though!
