Yeah, thankfully it did melt a lot last night and I did make it into work. We still have some on the ground but not on the roads which is fine with me.

Snow AGAIN. :cuss :cuss :cuss What happened to the days of yore when we would get one or two days of snow and that was it. I'm getting tired of this crap. :lol

Sad news about the deaths during this current Snow Storm.
For all the guys that live in these areas, I hope this is not going to disrupt your lives too much

Yeah we got freakin' slammed Monday night, blizzard conditions, zero visibility, 50 mph winds, but thats perfectly normal this time of year so :dunno

Snowed all day yesterday, and then there was rain, so we have a good coating of ice over about 6". Roads are still better than last Saturday when I drove to work an hour away. I took me almost two hours to get 45 miles on I-95, and we got less that time. I have no idea why. I'm guessing that texture is everything.

Very pretty out though. And the cold is nice. I'm glad winter is here.

-1 here at 6am :)

We won't get that until January/February.

I spent a winter in Galesburg, IL once. In five months, I think it snowed three times, but that snow stayed forever, frozen solid on the ground while the constant wind kept the temps around -50.

The same winter, Maine had several feet of snow until April. I would trade New England winter for Midwest winter any day, but what the Midwest had to offer was certainly impressive.
