Yes, let's turn this into a religious debate.

Is that why I was fooling around with a married Christian woman for the past 3 months? :rotfl

We're all hypocrites so let's get off our moral high horses

What the heck just happened? I'm so confused  Please don't make the mods lock this... it's a very useful thread :)

Um, how about a giveaway?

It does if you're a Christian.

Nope. It only does if you think it does, if your religion causes you feel guilt to go against being psychologically healthy and exiting a relationship that isn't worrying whether there are rings or not because of doctorine or dogma then thats a whole different issue isn't it. I'm a happily married man of 4 years and I'm a practicing Catholic but the reality is that I'm a realist. Church guidelines are just that guidelines and if so many didn't fail then the ones that make wouldn't seem so spectacular would they?

If you want to be a sick twist, feel free, let's not turn this into a generalization thread and put your morals on others.

Because she was seperated?

Also, as you said not everyone actually follows what thy believe all the time.

How about anyone! Preach about being good and kind to each other and then kick your daughter out of the house because she's dating a black guy

Oh if we were all as morally responsible as Christians.

I'm going to bed before Lonnie gives me another infraction :monkey1

I dont have a "high moral horse". I have a Mighty War Donkey in training. Coincidently his name is Loki.

Not to hijack this thread any further but in reality being married is an outdated technicality. The feelings that you have for someone don't become stronger once a ring is on your finger and the neither to the bonds of being in a relationship. In reality the whole thing is a show done to make if "official" only in the eyes of folks who still get swept up in the romantic sentiment. Hell in CA after 7 years its all community property if you live with someone so they can get half anyway. What creates a marriage is the willingness to stay faithful to the other person despite temptation or despite the odds, a ring and a ceremony doesn't change that.

Now, back to the topic at hand let's get that newsletter.

Well thats only if you have joint account and joint property, if not I would just about be in a common law marriage.
