Nope. It only does if you think it does, if your religion causes you feel guilt to go against being psychologically healthy and exiting a relationship that isn't worrying whether there are rings or not because of doctorine or dogma then thats a whole different issue isn't it. I'm a happily married man of 4 years and I'm a practicing Catholic but the reality is that I'm a realist. Church guidelines are just that guidelines and if so many didn't fail then the ones that make wouldn't seem so spectacular would they?

Why is it about guilt? Why can't it be about something more? As far as the guidelines question, I'm not sure what you mean. I don't have guidelines.
