Wow! Price will be a deciding factor for me, although Weta does these pieces very well from what I've seen of others'.

OH. MY. GOD.
He looks amazing.
To be honest, I had my doubts, after seeing the pose in the overhead photo, that was released earlier. But now? Look at his head. Look at the smug expression on that reptilian face. He looks both imposing and sly. Massive and full of character (which is more than I can say about most big monster/kayiju related statues). Its great.
I may have to do something illegal to get the funds for him, but god damn it, I am getting this statue.

Wow from the first few photo's Smaug look outstanding. The pose is an excellent combination of movie Smaug & the iconic book imagery. Hats off the Weta again...now the price reveal eek!
