Think it was in one of the Weta newsletters that this would be going up for pre order in November, so hopefully we should be hearing something soon!

I would expect something soon. I believe Gloin should also be going up soon as well.

I love the extra detail on this and Tauriels base, i really hope Weta do that with more of their statues

I really didn't care for Radagast in the movie but this is one of the best statues from the entire line IMO, certainly of a good guy humanoid character it may be one of the faves of the decade.

Our current estimates are :

Radadast will be in stock next Feb
Gloin will be in stock in late Dec

Here's my dilemma: Go for Radagast who I am sure will hit Tuesday and avoid a possible sell out situation
Or hang fire and bag a dwarf on Black Friday as I think Bofur may be reduced

Azog is a hefty toll, but we will definately reap the rewards (or Weta dollars) after he gets paid for and such dilemmas will be eased

That's tough. I don't know what to suggest and wouldn't be much help because I have all of the statues out so far so it's easy for me to say Radagast.

Unless Radagast is limited to 500 pieces I wouldn't worry about a sell-out. I regret buying Thranduil at full price, to be honest. Its the only one I have paid full price for. I would save my money for the sales.

IMHO it will sell out in early next year the latest...maybe late this year

I do expect a quicker sell out for him than say some of the Dwarves and I think the Elves will sell out quick as well once the movie launches.

Radagast has more going for him than some of the Dwarves I think. He completes the trio of named Wizards, his on screen portrayal is very memorable and in the books of ME he is a bit of an enigma. I think he will be a sell out at retail

You just reminded me how great it would be to get Saruman in a pose similar enough to G and R to make it look consistent for the three wizards.
