Its hard to imagine a more iconic elf pose than this guy. Elegant, stand-offish, perfect.

Thanks!!

I have. I just need to put them all together. That may have to wait until I get home.

Thanks mate. Look forward to it as just watching your Weta SDCC '12 vid over on your YT page.:)

This statue certainly has a presence full of grace and majesty.:clap

Thanks! I'm getting ready to put the Weta booth video together now. :rock I didn't as far as on video. I did get to talk with them over the course of the Con. I also got to chat with Evangeline Lilly and via robot thing Stephen Fry.

Oh Evangeline Lilly! How I wish I could've met her in person. She's beautiful! How was she in person? Did you get her autograph? Which item? Any autos from the Weta artists?

She is beautiful! I thought she was super sweet and very kind. It was only for like 2 mins but she was just as kind as she could be. I didn't. I was working the Weta booth for TORn so I didn't have time. I did get my other copy of the characters art book signed by several of the artists.

This probably isn't too spoiler-ish considering it's a 75 year old book, but just to play it safe...

Is this a pose of him holding and inspecting Orcist here, after maybe capturing the dwarves? Or is this sword just his own, personal elvish weapon? Thoughts?
