He's such a beautiful statue :clap! I can't wait to have him in hand early November!:yess:

Yes, agreed, it is a great looking statue! :clap They just keep getting better and better!

Really looking forward to November - got several statues due :yess:...hopefully I will get him (and Tauriel) early!

This probably isn't too spoiler-ish considering it's a 75 year old book, but just to play it safe...

Is this a pose of him holding and inspecting Orcist here, after maybe capturing the dwarves? Or is this sword just his own, personal elvish weapon? Thoughts?

It's his ;) that's not Orcrist.

Speaking of Thranduil's sword I hope Noble Collection does one of their mini-swords of it.

The "low stock" alert let me ordered this and the Tauriel statue. These are my first weta hobbit statues (besides the faux bronze smaug) - well, I waited for the PF line, but I am sick of waiting - so both statues are looking too great to pass.

Maybe, I hope not too soon. Here is the update from WETA on the SF :wave

My Tauriel in my order deal is at order in progress. So she may be about to ship. Nothing changed yet on Thranduil.

I guess this means the US has gotten stock first as usual then.

Really looking forward to in hand pics.

Re: Weta Workshop's Tauriel Statue

Also a group of Thranduil's in-hand pics from the same forum.
I will just simply post them here.

Still, the paint job and the detail quality is FAR FAR BETTER than some of those previous Weta Hobbit statues.
