It looks like William Shatner right now, but if this were to be worked on alot I would be in.

Biggest problem is that Alex Denisof has very smooth facial features and a thin moth, but this sculpt does not.

Haha Shadow, you funny guy!

Oh crap, sorry. Haha

Just kind of skimmed over the first post and thought that was supposed to be the first draft of the sculpt or something. lol

Ah, but thats the joy of the english language. You can learn so much by reading it.

I included that to show the kind of work WGP has done before, for those not inclined to wade through all the threads in the custom section.

There you go. I found that my copy was a tad undersized really, espiclaly as I wanted it to go on a Sideshow body so it would blend in with the rest of the Angel line.

Spenser does some nice work and has even improved a lot since this version, but it doesn't seem to capture the character per se.

It's not bad, but as you say Spencer has come on along way since then, and could do alot better I'm sure.

I tentatively want to support this, but am not thrilled about the price jump to $55 on their newer heads. I like the WGP heads I have purchased but their digital-to-3D-print work does not have the same level of detail as sculptors that work by hand. But I would probably buy it if it became reality.

Yeah, I agree the price jump is a pain, but I don't mind paying it so long as the finished carved out sculpt is up to scratch.

I think WGP must realise that to. Thats why I'm following their other threads with interest to see how their other ones come out.

Yeah, but call me spoilt but I'd dearly love a crisp accurate sculpt rather then something I have to futzz in the painting to get it to work.

I like it, but I find I can't use it as (for me at least) It's far too small.

I agree about the price.

And in my opinion the first 1 doesn't really look like Wes. That is why I am excited to see a new take on him.
