Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at printers now!

well actually, the way we sized his head was that we took a HT head - measured the space between the centre of each eye (because at this scale that measurement is the one that changes the least), and measured the width of the head (end of the jaw/ear notch) and matched these measurements on Indy

Just to clarify, we didn't measure from the HT Indy head as it was too small.

I'm confused! Just hoping the size lands somewhere between the size of the HT and SSC heads.

Great to hear that the HT was indeed (I think...) considered too small when creating this.

Ok, it does start to sound a little better.

As the trainer said to his overweight jockey as he patted the horse: "There's a lot riding on this."

Ha ha - sorry! I have a standard HT muscle body head and a HT Joker which I used as ref

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at printers now!

It doesn't matter, Dorgmal has loads of bodies and I'm sure he can sort out what we need to see.

Pretty, pretty, pretty good...

All we need is someone with Photoshop.

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at printers now!

agreed, this is looking really good! Will there be a hatless version available? I saw the zbrush model in an early post.

Also any plans for a Blade Runner conversion on the horizon? All it would take is a hair swap. would save me the bother of printing/casting my sculpt :D

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at printers now!

The size looks fine to me, although a completely built Indy with it on there would be the best reference. Some bits of the sculpt (the back of the jaw and parts of the hat) still seem to be a bit rough. is that a by product of the casting? Will these be cleaned up a bit more when you guys get them?

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at printers now!

The scale looks good in the latest pics, but I agree that we need to see some shots on a built up Indy. Getting more and more excited for this!

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at printers now!

Yeah, we're definitely in the ball park, I'd like to see it on a Muscle or Narrow TT though, I think that's what most of us are using and that would be the real clincher.

I think they'll be cleaned up more, the Daniel Craig I got from BBKill was flawless.

People just need to shout out if they want a hatless Indy head of the Trad or Smiling. We have no problem making them and are keeping an interested list. We just want to get to 16 people interested to go forward.

WGP hopes to show Blade Runner some love next year (or beginning at the end of this year if we are lucky).
-Rick :)
