Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at casters now!

I'm interested in the hatless sculpt, especially if I can buy it painted from their painter.

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at casters now!

So glad. I was worried I was the only one for minute there. LOL

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at casters now!

LOL, I remember when the Newline boots were HIGHLY sought after.

Then the HT version came out with those slick boots, everybody scooped those up. . . and everyone had nice boots for their Indy.

6 months later, Newline decided to make more of their no longer highly sought after Indy boots. :(

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at casters now!

If it wasnt for my friend owning a hot toys indy it makes me appreciate the choices made for my indy.

I have a real leather jacket that looks and feels so much better than the hot toys, the shirt and pants look good with detailed pockets and a propper pleated shirt. My leather boots feel right shure they could be alittle darker but i can use bown shoe pollish to do that or let it age dark on its own. The hat is the right lenth all around and feels like beaver fur so I have no complaints.

but maybe your right hot toys might be better but just not for me.

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at casters now!

I'm afraid I have to agree with the others, those Newline products look a little dated now.

Back in the day, when I started doing Indy customs, folk were screaming at me to use stuff that they had on their Indys. In those days he was purely a custom figure.

My point about custom figures is that you can use what you want, if you use what everyone else does then a custom figure ends up looking like a production figure. Custom figures are what you do when you DON'T want it to look like a production figure.

Thanks, I only have one figure on display that would be exactly as it came out of the box.

Refinished, the Hasbro boots look pretty good too.

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at casters now!

I know, that's precisely why I used them on mine. The HS on the whipping figure wasn't half bad either.

Best hs is the rare RPG German Indy - it really is pretty good. For a $20 doll that is!

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at casters now!

I might have seen that actually, it wasn't till someone stripped one that I saw how good that Hasbro sculpt was.

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at casters now!

William Shatners Toupee, can you check out my heads shipping status? I've paid for both versions and one hat. Please. Thank you.

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at casters now!

Just to update everyone the cast should be ready some time in the next week.
They are running slightly behing because the head caster was unable to make more and because of the snow the originals were stuck at my a week so she is still catching up.

The good news is that all current orders will be filled plus a couple of extras in this wave.
But that is literally 3 or 4 extra so if you want to get one soon order now.

Not quite a huge update but at least it's something :lol
