You guys looking at neck or no neck for the Flash sculpt. Sculpted neck body would probably look better with the tank top.

I agree. It would be better to make his head with no neck exactly for that reason.

might be interested in Flash & Ming. Ming's costume will be nuts. there was a custom around here (Spenser's?) and if y'all get it close to that, it'd be a knockout!

BTW, did you folks ever release a Kolchak? i'd be all over that w/ a good auit & hat

Yes, it was Spencers and it was amazing!

I am actually looking into fancy embroidery for all of Mings front emblems too, but won't know how feasable that will be for mass production till I can get a price. I heard it was expensive and Ming has a lot of emblems on his front, but this is why I research now, even though he is due later this year. I'll add you and Galahad to the interested list. You can back out if you need to later. It just really helps to have an idea how many are interested.

Kolchak is set for spring. He'll be coming with lots of accessories too. Right now I am searching like hell for accurate 1:6 scaled striped seersucker material. I almost peed my pants when I found some online yesterday, but of course the place was out of stock with no ability to get more in.

Wanted to update and say I got the quote back from an embroidery/patch place on making Flash's front shirt emblem for us and the price is do-able! Since Flash's costume is pretty easy, I can officially confirm now Flash is definitely targeted for an earlier summer release now, and this does break through and help for Mings ornate detailing too because they can use metallic thread. .

We are at 11 interested so I know we can make this happen!

I have an unholy love for this movie -- I taped it off the tv when I was a kid (probably in like the mid-80s) and watched it over and over again. When I finally got it on dvd, there were all these extra scenes I'd never seen before because the TV version had been cut to pieces.

What I want to know is though WHAT ABOUT THE BORE WORMS?!?

Cool story!

I saw the movie in the theater twice when it came out when I was just nine.
I wasn't really into listening to music and collecting records. As a kid I hadn't discovered all of that yet. But when I saw the movie I not only loved it, I was so blown away by the music, the first time really captured me like that, I brought a big-ass 70's tape recorder in with me the second time I saw it to record the music. Good times!

Just wanted to update to say as we are moving through the list of characters we announced, Flash is getting closer. You should start to see movement on him within a month or so.

Thanks, man. We love hearing that! The lists are non-committal, so you can back out if you ever have to, no worries. It really just helps us gauge interest.

So, my only main concern with our making FLASH was getting the right body for him, particularly because he is in that tank top and wanted it to be a body not only could everybody find but not be insanely priced. And now Hot Toys just just announced this muscled body for this for Fourth Quarter and I think it will work GREAT! Any thoughts?

Just to update everyone the wheels are in motion on FLASH.
Here are some early W.I.P.'s (also without eyebrow and hair detail)!

The head and sword will be done and available a month or so before his costume (till our tailor catches up on projects). I figure that just lets people get their head painted ahead of time to be ready when the costume becomes available (and to pick up their HT muscle body!).
