Had Thanksgiving dinner at Marie Callendar's this year. It is the first time I have ver had TG dinner outside of the house other than a few times I missed out when I was in the Marines.

It was good...but it just lacked that home/family feel. We are cooking a turkey today. I am looking forward to turkey sandwiches for the next week almost as much as I am looking forward to the dinner tonight.

You're not missing anything. In-n-Out sucks. I have always considered it to be one of those California things. Like tofu and seaweed.

But to be honest, as I have mentioned about 100 times in this forum, I am the only person that I know of that hates In-n-Out.

I don't think its the holy grail of fast food like many believe either. It's good but, when it comes to fast food, I would rather eat Wendy's over InO any day.

Ex was out shopping for Christmas today and brought the whole family over for turkey so it was pretty much like we had thanksgiving anyway.

I am a little miffed, though, as I completely detroyed the gravy by accidentally making it with powdered sugar instead of flour.

I also forgot the stuffing...but I give myself a pass on that as I was not planning to do stuffing until about an hour before the meal was ready when I found out everyone was coming over.

Turkey never tastes the same to me the next day. So I passed on that and having pretty much everything else: ham, mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, and pumpkin pie.
