Love RUSH! I was at the Uptown theatre at Yonge and Bloor 12 years back or so and saw Geddy Lee and his whole family there for a movie. AWESOME.

BTW, does anyone have any suggestions on the most reliable and cheapest place to order the WARDRUNA album? I heard some more tracks on youtube and I need the album now.

Pretty cool you saw Getty. I never really saw many famous people around Toronto other then the singer from Pursuit of Happiness, Willy Nelson uhh..Wayne Gretzky, i swear i did see Corey Haim at a bar here years ago as well. When i was around 9 or 10 i did see them filming Short Circuit 2 down on Lakeshore,Detroit Rock City as well as Bride of Chucky in Scarborough.I don't have too many exciting stories of downtown Toronto, did miss out on seeing Sammoth from the Norwegian band Emperor at the Velvet Underground, apparently he married a woman from Toronto.

I also like Courage, 38 Years Old, Wheat Kings, New Orleans is Sinking....

I was never a big fan of them in my teen years but, they really have grown on me now, another great Canadian band.

A little off topic, but I just found out about the Shazam app. It can tell you the artist and title of a song by "listening" to a few seconds of it. It's great if your listening to the radio or hear a song on tv but don't know what it is. It works great. I don't know how many times I've heard a song playing during some show and wondered what it was. Now I can find out just by using this app.

The first song I played to see if it works well it couldn't figure out! But in its defence, it was a more obscure song. The app DOES work quite well.
