Three of my favorite Christmas albums of all time are the Beach Boys Ultimate Christmas, the Phil "before he was a murder" Spector Christmas and A Charlie Brown Christmas by Vince Guaraldi.

I'm just not ready to listen to them yet. :D

Yeah, I love all those as well. My top 3 faves actually. :lecture

Did you know Brian played piano on one of the Ronette recordings on that Spector Xmas album and Phil basically chased Brian out of the studio calling his playing mediocre at best! :lol

Wouldn't you have loved to have been a fly on the wall when those two were together? :lol

I really like Brian's Christmas album that came out a couple of years ago too. What happened to his new album, btw?

I think they go into the studio to start recording in December. I heave heard some concert bootlegs though and I like it quite a bit.

Jeff Buckley - Grace

His birthday was last week.

I'm a big fan of Sigur Ros, btw!

Me too on Sigur Ros.

I couldn't get into Jeff Buckley and ended up trading Grace to a friend. I need to give it a better try.

Currently listening to Peter Gabriel's Soundtrack to "Birdy".

My favorite Christmas albums are the Transiberian Orchestra albums as well as Mannheim Steamroller. I also have a Jethro Tull Christmas album...if that isn't irony.

"Grace" is one of my all-time favorite albums. He had such an amazing voice. I remember how shocked and saddened I was when I heard of his death.
