I know how you feel. I use to love thunderstorms as a teenager and into my 20's but not anymore. They are still more than welcome when there is a high pollen count.

I'm not afraid of them, it's just a ton of rain isn't good for my basement, plus the high wind and lightening might knock out my power. Just glad so far I didn't get the golf ball hail that some are getting around me. Hard on the cars.
