If they had stayed together, Edmunds and Lowe could have done some amazing things. Terrific musicians and performers with a wide range of styles, clever lyrics, and a punk rock sensibility. Reminiscent of several other big new wave bands in that sense--the Police, Talking Heads, Elvis Costello, etc. But neither seemed content to keep doing this, so they went their own ways and did their own thing. I would love to go back in time and see this group live, though.

The thing I love about this song is that Patton goes back to his old school real thing/angel dust voice after having ditched it almost entirely by album of the year. People complain about the almost nasally tone to it but those two albums are my favourite. I wish they'd come to Edmonton on tour though.
