I love Burnout 3!
It's nuts, man. It's the standout title in the franchise and neither its sequels nor its prequels came close to its perfection of arcade racing.

Im playing Gran Turismo 6 now. I played the hell out of 5. When 6 came out it really angered me at how much was missing. I used to do all the races myself, then do b-spec races aswell. I loved b-spec mode. I put the game back on at 11:30 am this morning, the updates and installs didnt finish until 10:30 pm tonight. But im back in, its much better. B-spec is there. Although i hate the PP addition. I forgot about that. You can only race cars with a certain power in certain events which means you cant take a super car to the early events. But you need to progress through the early events to get to the super cars its not like you can break the game. You no longer have the fun of seeing how far you came with your beastly cars by taking them back to prior events because you are too OP. So you never really feel OP because you can only race against equals.
Screw GT sport. I played the beta, demo sucked. Minimal VR. No GT mode. Rubbish. Atleast GT academy didnt pretend to be a new game.
Nah i dont think so. I was on it all last night again, and ive had about 6 hours just now. It feels so sterile. Less cars, less race modes. Dont be deceived by the number 6 following 5 into thinking the game will be new and flashy. It feels dead. Theres just something about it so bleh. Id say if you didnt dislike GT5, to sink your time into that and wait for GT7. All GT 6 did was re-model some of the cars to make them nice and shiny ( as a result taking cars out of the game) so you can take pictures in game .But the graphics dont even look good anymore so theres no justification for 6.Do you think GT6 is a better game than GT5?

Theres something odd about the Graphics in 6, its like they designed the game to be for PC and they ported it to ps3 with all the settings set to low to medium. Theres a suspicious amount of graphical control like they forgot to remove them from the game. And theres quite a bit of screen taring, and massive jagged shadows that looks like tetris blocks are about to fall on you when you go under trees. Its like they set graphics to medium, shadows to low and forgot to turn off v-sync. It runs smooth enough but the graphics are an unusual combination of good and bad.Good to know. I'm replaying GT5 since I didn't think GT Spit, I mean Sport was that much of a generational leap. Squint and they'll look the same and cars and environments still look stiff and bland.

The games pretty much look the same. Some of the cars in 6 have more pixels as a gimmick to look nicer but its only on select cars so its not really a blanket statement to say its a better looking game. Maybe the blinding whiteness lighting effect that makes it seem like a flash grenade has went off in your car when you are leaving a tunnel is a new effect but thats about it.Are you saying GT5 looks better than GT6? I thought GT5 looked great, but it had a lot of rough edges. Could have sworn it would be fixed in GT6.
