Also a great show. I was really into Man Vs. Wild until I read that the guy goes to a hotel room at night..... Still a crazy show...nothing like watching a guy drink his own urine.

Sadly yes.......I believe it was a UK news team that broke the scoop - that he sleeps in hotel rooms (I don't know about every night...but he has on occassion) and that he has assistance while he is out in the wild. The producers of the show made some lame ass comment and that was the last I heard about it. Bummed me out though.

His ability to survive in the wild is rather remarkable. I enjoyed watching him pull himself out of a frozen lake and then run around a puny campfire naked in the freezing cold. Gotta say I've learned a few survival tips from this show....but hopefully I will never have to try them out.

The only survival tip I need to know is to not go camping.
