Does he still do that show? I noticed Discovery Channel have started showing a gangs program but with another host.

I've no Idea. It used to be on Sky1 in the UK. I don't get Sky so I was only watching the dvd.

EDIT: Just looked on wikipedia, there was 4 seasons from 2006-2008. He then went on and did Ross Kemp in Afghanistan and Return to Afghanistan.

I've only got seasons 2 and 3 of gangs and Kemp in Afghanistan. I think its quite a good programme. Enjoy watching it

How was Doghouse?

You asked me that a while ago and I think you missed my review in the other thread. It was decent but didn't touch a hair on Shaun of the Dead imo. I'd give it a 5 or 6 out of ten. It just felt like it was on a much lower budget and the humor is on a different level.

I've been gunning for the Aliens on earth concept since they rumored doing that years and years ago, but this movie just fell flat in my opinion.

All the past Alien movies took place in the future, and while the Predator movies didn't, it worked there. Here it just seemed like they took a horror movie (where people get bumped off one-by-one) and threw in some Aliens and a Predator. And I don't like the idea of just anybody grabbing a gun from the hardware store and taking on these cinematic bad-asses. Colonial Marines or mercenaries only. :lecture

I will say that I loved the PredAlien concept.

Pretty good give it a watch if you like films shawn of the dead. :)
Thanks. May check it out if I have time.

Hey Tay, yeah, I missed your review. Thanks. I was mentioning earlier that I couldn't stand the black guy in Doctor Who so I am curious what he is like in this one.

And the other movie I asked you about, the one in your signature - still haven't had a chance to see it, but you will be the first to know when I do.

Hey Darth, was this the first time you saw AvP:R?

Basicly, to me, it felt like the directors and writers got together and wrote down their favorite scenes from all the alien predator movies, each scene on a separate piece of paper. They then threw the sheets of paper in the air and then picked them up off the floor, and kept them in the order the appeared on the floor. They then tried to cobble a story around those scenes, which happened to focus on a pizza delivery kid, and that was their script.

And all those "favorite" scenes were re-shot almost scene for scene like in the originals... but badly.

Did you crank the brightness on your TV so you could actually SEE the movie?? :lol

:lol

I agree with everything you said. This was the second time I attempted to watch it. I originally tried watching the Blu-ray last year, but never got through the whole movie (since I couldn't see crap) and ended up selling it.

I recorded it on my DVR recently and watched that. It was a different TV, so the image was brighter. Now that I could actually see what was going on, I think I preferred not to. :monkey5

Noel Clarke is a decent actor but I understand what you mean about how being a little annoying . My friends dad apparently knows him and everytime I see him he brings it up since I like movies. I always make out as if I'm a fan so not to offend him but now I'm going to always think of you saying this when he mention it. :lol:rotfl

Most people in the UK I would think would recognise him either from Doctor who or the movies which he wrote and starred in " Kidulthood " and " Adulthood " which were both easily his strongest roles.
If you haven't seen either of those you should check them out and give him a second chance. I know quite a few people thought those movies promoted violence and were taking advantage over a problem the country seems to be going through but I disagree really since he ended the last movie on a positive note. I wouldn't want to ruin it though.

You really need to check out Dead Mans shoes !. :D Great movie !.
