I am really coming to a point where I have started throwing the boxes due to space constraints. But have been wondering whether most of you guys really manage to store the boxes? I mean you'll have really huge collection and surely have more boxes than what I do. So what is the solution? Do you hire storage places on yearly basis?

Hah! Great question. I don't have a large collection so I still have room to store mine in our garage—much to my wife's chagrin.

We don't really have that much storage space. We have 3 closets full of boxes. We ran out of room long ago. But we will never throw away the boxes.

I break down the boxes. Easy to store. I put the styrofoam up in the attic. The heat doesn't seem to affect the styrofoam.

Easy........if you have an attic. :)

I tried to store in the closet but some boxes like the HULK comiquette are really huge. And take up chunk of place. And even before you know the closet is out of space. :gah::gah:

I store them in the attic, garage, main closet of collection room
1/2 of customs don't have boxes :yess: money saved

Our house is really small, so we rent a storage unit at one of those self-storage places.

Turns out more than half of it is full of my empty boxes!

:slap

I've love for Storage Wars to buy your storage locker thinking it had a ton of valuable figures in there only to find the boxes empty :lol

We live in a small house but we built a storage shed. Basically it only costed 1 years rent at a storage locker, but we get to keep it forever. So it seemed worth the investment. And no, its not just full of empty figure boxes :lol

Garage full.
10 x 12 Shed full.
Laungry room full.

God help me if my house ever catches on fire.

I have enough room in my actual collection room. I turn it into a Tetris game and get everything to fit with minimal impact on space.

After it gets full I'm going to throw everything in the hidey hole.
